you forget that appearance effects your perception of the person's persona and personality. Eddie is supposed to act how muscle brained testorone driven idiots act.
How is Topher gonna act like a muscle brained kind of guy? It's possible that I could end up liking this version of Venom, but I can't help but think it's not gonna be close to as good as the original. The Fox cartoon portrayed Venom pretty good.

Eddie doesn't need to be a body builder, but he shouldn't be a skinny whimp either. I'd even settle for a normal build. Hopefully they will have him wearing padded muscles under his clothing, and if we ever get a shirtless shot, maybe they will use a body double with Topher's head super imposed.

Yeah, I don't know what the **** is going on anymore. We're getting a VINO, a snowboarding goblin. So far Sandman seems good, but who knows.

I've said it before, and i'll say it again. I'll reserve my opinion until after i've seen the film, but i'm not going to hold my breath.

yeah I feel the same. I haven't seen the movie yet, so I wont judge it and review it yet, but some things seem like they aren't turning out right. I have been an adamant defender of Raimi, but I'm starting to wish somebody else had taken the helm. Somebody like Bryan Singer.

Your talking to the wrong guy when it comes to the comics. I haven't read a comic in about 8 years and I my memory is kinda blurred when it comes to that stuff. So it's no concern to me if he isn't the bodybuilder type like in the comics. I just want a solid movie and if it strays from the comics, it doesn't bother me. If the movie version of Eddie Brock works, I'm happy.

true back in Feb. Also I'm not really complaining cause it would be neat if the whole Venom thing was like anti-spidey, but thats just my opinion.

they still could be waiting to bulk him up after first finishinh filming him as Eddiet. just like they did you Toby in the first one, where he develop his body over night after he was bitten. Topher could get bigger only after becoming venom. so we can see a bigger transformation in to the role, and have his changes be more drastic.

that scene what computer enhanced. he had already bulked up before spiderman started filming.

also, brock is meant to be bulk before venom.

i still think they will go the ultimate spidey route and have a skinny Brock who has muscle when he is in the suit

also after i rewatched the episode tophers shoulder width was the same as Hide's and Kelsos so he's had some progress

I don't think that was computer enhanced, because if you look closely when peter is standing outside with harry and he first meets Harry's Dad he looks really skinny. I think they filmed that part early early, like several months before they filmed the rest of the movie. in the shirtless scene he is no doubt sucking it in, and you can tell.

oh dear jesus just give the dam kid 2 cycles of decca durbol....he'll be ****in huge and everyone will be happy...and its only 2 cycles so its not like he'll see any long term side effects...for those who dont know, decca is an extremely popular steroid that increases size and strength gains significantly(11-14 lbs. of muscle in 3 weeks) with the least amount of side effects out of all steroids....you may also be suprised to know that it has been used widely through out hollywood for actors that need to bulk up for roles

I disagree completely. There was barely any noticeable difference at all. in fact if we had never heard about him lifting weights, then we never even would have thought there was a difference. In fact watching the finale I was nervous that Eric was gonna blow away in the wind or something.

And I noticed a slight difference. His face is fuller, and he was wearing a crapload of layers. Maybe they're trying to hide his "slight" bulk?
