JBrown, I'd change the cut of the trunks. I know it's faithful this way, but it make you look shortlegged.

Thanks guys! That is my own symbol. I think the shortleggedness may be attributed to the camera angle rather than the trunks.

I don't recomend a superman returns suit from javierschool on ebay. i just got one. the boots, belt, and emblem are very high quality. the body suit is very cheap and not durable. they give full-cut trunks and skimpy ones. i couldn't fit into the full-cut ones so i can only wear the skimpy ones. pluse the zipper in the back of the bodysuit doesn't go down far enough making it extremely difficult to put on.
the zentai spandex suits are actually better except they don't have soles on the feet.
here is my superman returns suit that i just got.

Hey All.
I just finished my Legion of Superheroes Superboy costume. It's an emalgum of a few versions of Superman and Superboy. The cape emblem and boots are Superman Returns influenced. The boots have yet to be painted red by the way. The suits colors and black belt are Kindome Come and Fleischer inspired. The Legion Buckle and Ring are just that. So this is my Legion Superboy costume!

Heres a better shot of the boots, buckle and Ring. Like I said I have yet to paint the boots red.

Cheers Traivs, thanks for the advice. Ive seen the Zentai ones on ebay, so are they pretty good ones to get would you say? i mean if it comes to it i could order the body suit from them and get the boots, belt and S elsewhere... cheers

javierschool does an excellent belt. the embelem is good too and the boots aren't too shabby either. The main problem is the cheap body suit. Pretty flimsy, plus like i said, the zipper doesn't go down far enough making it almost impossible to get on over my shoulders without ripping it.

What a fantastic suit. I am impressed. The boots look awesome. Where did you get them?

Also make sure to make the S on your chest red.

Thanks. I made the boots myself.
The S will match the reds on the cape and Briefs,
I just have yet to add the suede.

on my suit the cape and briefs are stretch seued, the emblem will be as well.
The boot auction on ebay is mine. I am offering my boot making services to
others, not just superman, but any kind of hero boot.

The bodysuit is from my local Dance shop

I had a zentai suit before, I really did not like it at all. I gave it to a friend of mine. They use cheaper materials and the emblems are always positioned innacuratly and stretched like crazy once they are on. The capes are also usually cheap thin materials. I hate that they have sewn on booties as well. I prefer to make suits from scratch, that way you get exactly what you want. Sure it costs more, but in the end its worth it to have eaxactly what you want.

amen to that, people always critisize me on how much I spent on my custom supersuit but it's exactly what I want, it's perfect. and there aren't to many things in this world that you can say that about
