Considering most of the source material for the films so far comes from comicbooks roughly in the 1975 - 1990 bracket, the chances of seeing Omega Red in X3 are highly remote. Simply put, the wishlists of 'recent' comicbook characters fit a different set of story lines than the more classic ones, so don't expect them to appear until later X-Movies (if ever).

He would look stupid on screen....IMO.

Plus... I don't see how he could fit into the story...... but then again... I thought the same way about Lady D.

That being said.... I'm tried of seeing wolverine villians in the X-MEN movies........

maybe they can have 2 stories going on at the same time........cause........i REALLY would rather see omega red then the phenoix saga.....OMEGA RED....that would be ....en great!

Supposedly Remylebeau from the CountingDown.com boards and emailed Vince Murdocco about his role as Omega Red in X3. Here is Remylebeau's post.

The Spoiler in this is that his involvement in the story takes place in Act 3... The Whole of Act 3 is surposably the huge battle sequence with Magneto and all the mutants.

Petty interesting, but hasn't it been reported that Murdocco is not playing Omega Red but a random Omega mutant?

I always thought that Omega Red was in this one and I hope he is. He would be an awesome on screen bad guy with those metal tentacles coming out. I just wonder how they would fit him into the story line. Anways I hope this is true.

Yes, he's NOT playing Omega Red, or at least has never been confirmed to be, and the last person to email him said that he had learned his role was possibly edited out from the film

Maybe the reshoots were actually some new major spoilerific scenes that they wanted to keep under wraps??? Maybe Kinberg is just lying...no one has mentioned that. Why would he not lie? If they said no Gambit and then there was Gambit, that would make it even more awesome being suprised.

If Gambit were eventually in X3, I'd sue FOX for extreme emotional suffering during the last year...

I'd prefer they save Omega Red for Wolverine spin-off: Arkadis is more related to Logan than to anyone else.
