For those of you that don’t know.

SUPERMAN PRIME is from DC’s One Million series. It depicts Superman in his ultimate prime, where he has become essentially a cosmic powered NEW GOD. Superman lives in a sun, and has mastered all of his abilities, and can fly in and out of black holes, stop white dwarfs, and survive omega novas (explosions that blow up entire solar systems). Superman Prime could easily take on both Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet, the Anti-Monitor, and Galactus, and defeat them with great ease. Superman Prime’s only real competition would be either Spectre or maybe the full Living Tribunal…in combined combat. Superman Prime could even take down Batman with unlimited prep time!!! Oh yeah, Superman Prime also possesses a Veteran Green Lantern Power Ring too (supposedly the last and most powerful one in existence). Superman Prime is also completely immune to Kryptonite too!!! In other words Superman Prime is Superman in his ultimate most powerful invincible form, a true GOD!!!

I think it would be a short fight, and Superman would win hands down. He’d mop the floor with most uber powerful versions of GOKU. lol

On a side note, I had posted this accidentally in the JLU area, but meant for it to be here.

I don't get why people cant understand that Superman Prime from DC One Million is God pretty much. Goku no matter how powerful he is can't beat God. Before Goku could utter a word SP could have destroyed him. Lets go back the man took close to a million year nap in the heart of the sun. He doesn't even need the sun anymore. He can create and end life with a wave of his hand. He has the last GL ring. I just dont see it happening. Not even if you had thousands of Goku. You would do better if you picked someone who isn't God.

Early in the DBZ universe, Frieza is able to destroy a whole planet by himself with a single ball of energy from his index finger. He didn't even have to put much effort into it.

Super Saiyan 1 Goku is millions of times more powerful than that. Super Saiyan 3 Goku is millions of times even more powerful than Super Saiyan 1 Goku. If he wanted to, Goku could probably explode the whole universe.

Let's put this in perspective. In the very first episodes of DBZ, Raditz was surprised that Piccolo was able to dodge his beam attack, saying that Piccolo had to be moving faster than the speed of light. At that time, Piccolo was no where near as strong or fast as even Frieza's first form. Frieza was already many times faster than the speed of light in his weakest form, and we can see this trend go on as Goku gets even stronger. I doubt Superman is that fast. Add to that, Goku even has instant transmission. He can be anywhere at anytime, essentially.

Really, we're making all this about Goku because he's the main character, but Gohan was really the strongest single character by the end of DBZ (Not counting GT). Gohan would've probably obliterated SS3 Goku if he wanted to. Gohan >>> Superman.

That faster than light line is misused dialogue written by Toei, Radditz says no such thing in the manga. And Freeza only blew planets up by sending an energy ball to their core and destabalising them. It's not like he could completely engulf a planet and destroy it that way, you're overstating his power.

That's what he did to Namek. What he did to Planet Vegeta was very clearly different. It wasn't the same thing that he did to Namek and the planet blew up very quickly after it collided.

The problem with using filler to argue feats is that it's very contradictory to the manga canon and even the anime itself. That scene also shows Saiyans breathing in the vaccum of space which is established they can't do. The only canonical instance of Freeza destroying a planet is Namek, and he was truely desperate then because Goku had become a SSJ and was completely outclassing him. If ever he needed to blow the planet up in an instant like that scene it would have been then. Instead he destabilises the core and we got the longest 5 minute countdown in anime history. He was also in his true form on Namek and so more powerful but he uses a weaker attack? As i said it condtradicts too much.

Goku was never intended to be God or omipotent. Superman Prime was.

Admittedly, I'm not much of a DBZ fan. But the greatest feat I have seen Goku accomplish was the Super-Ultra Spirit Bomb that destroyed Omega Shenron when he had all of Earth's Dragon Balls.

Superman Prime could just eradicate the universe. But he'd survive anyway because he is omnipotent.

Well, I have to give it to Goku. Why? Because Goku can actually fight unlike Superman that brawls and uses his strength really. Also, Goku could just instant transmission into SP's body and explode him from the inside. Don't know if Superman can piece himself back together from cells....see what I did there lol, but if he can't then the win goes to Goku-son lol.

No Superman Prime is from DC One Million. He built his Fortress of Solitude in the heart of the sun. Where there he became God pretty much. He could create worlds, bring people back to life, change history, has the last GL ring. Pretty much there is no beating Superman Prime. People tend to think of Superboy-Prime when you think of Superman-Prime because DC had to change the name due to legal reasons but really Superman-Prime is unbeatable and anyone is kidding themselves to think otherwise. It is like asking how do you beat GOD.
