I believe we know that he fight's multiple man. I'm betting he has a skirmish with juggs as well. Plus he will probably off a bunch of soldiers.

There's an arc (Astonishing perhaps?) where he has to kill Jean because she's dying and suffering... and then she resurrects as Phoenix. She asks him to kill her, maybe he does it...

I'm thinking he'll just take on Multiple Man, and probably charge Magneto in the woods when he sees him with Jean, but to no avail.

I think most of what Wolverine will do will be decimating random mutant soldiers.

I think he'll have to attempt to attack her when she's in her Phoenix form (or firebird form) and fail.

I mean, if she -Jean, not "Phoenix"- realizes what's happening to her, that would make her weaker and willing to die to save the world. IF Cyclops is dead, maybe Logan would "help" her to get rid of Phoenix.

OR... perhaps Cyclops (IF he doesn't die) is the one who "helps" her... who knows.

Not a rumor. It was confirmed by one of the SHH set reports I believe.

I guess it wouldn't really be much of a fight. I was just going by what we saw with Magento hurting Wolverine in the forest from the trailer, and what we heard about that in the set reports.

Wolverine did fight Magneto in a New X-Men storyline...he caught him off guard and slashed him pretty badly before Magneto struck back... But it's a shaky concept for a man with a metal skeleton to be able to surprise, ambush or attack the master of magnetism who can detect a few globules of iron in a prison guard's bloodstream...
