In the latest TV Guide that I received today, there is an article about Wentworth Miller who plays a convict in the TV show Prison Break. When asked who he would play if he could play any character in literature, he said that he would "love to have a crack at General Zod from Superman. So I'm hoping that Bryan Singer makes a sequel to the "Superman" that's coming out and casts me."

I kinda prefer Zod being older than Kal-El or at least look like he is. However, Miller does have that crazy look as Mentok pointed out. Sort of a calculating look to him.

the pic isn't showing up for me, but if it's who I think it is he'd definitely work. Hell, while I agree that he should be a bit older I kinda like the idea that when he tried to overthrow the council he was some punk in his 20s, and thanks to not aging in the phantom zone he's now closer in the phantom zone.

Zod should be about the same age as Jor-El (when he died) anyway.

I like Miller, but I think he's a little young for Zod.
I'd really like to see him play Kyle Raynor in a GL movie, personally. |

Hey, it could work. I think he'd be a good Zod. I just don't know if I want a Zod in the sequels.

Oh yeah, Prison Break is produced by Brett Ratner, so he could theoretically put in a word to Singer about Miller. |

Why would a sequel have Zod in it? Remaking the first movie was enough, don't ya think?

Miller is a model and can't act for poop. Plus I dunno whether I want to see zod.
Ive always been a proponent of doomsday, (In a death of Supes film). That'll never happen under Singer's watch. But Id like them to borrow from the comics for a fesh villian vs Zod or and especially Luthor. Next please! |

Miller would have to be a few years older to tackle the role, I think. There are a handful of other actors I'd rather see in the role before this guy, though.
