Official: X3 Predictions!

Here is the deal: there are sooo many theories getting tossed back and forth over the extent of 30 major threads in here. So what i want to do is come up with the GENERAL CONSENSUS- so we can watch the movie and come back on here and see how off we were.

So post a prediction in bold and people can reply to your prediction with thier name added to it!


EXAMPLE:

ROGUE will take the cure

So i guess the first pridicition i will put in there is the SENTINEL envolvment.

What are the main theories here?


Sentinels: Will be in danger room only

Sentinels: Show up at the final battle scene


Sentinels: Wont be in the movie at all

After Zak Penn's last answer about how he hopes we're not all misled by Ratner saying "sentinels" (note the lowercase on that ) I think they're going to be just random DR robots.

Based off the placement of TRASK in the movie i would have to believe they are playing a bigger role. so this is my pick. Also you have ratner saying he added them, and they were not even in the script when he arrived.

Cyclops: Dies at alkali lake (doesnt return)

Wouldn't it make more sense that they were added in a small capacity? Everyone's said that Brett hasn't made major changes to the script, and introducing the Sentinels is a big change to the story (and it effects the first two acts, as well, because you need to set up their introduction). A more expensive third act could be an extended GG Bridge sequence as opposed to its length when it was originally early in the script.

Rogue will NOT take the cure because the movie needs the obligatory "You're beautiful just as you are!" scene.

This sounds pretty plausible... it's another take on how Brett said it was hard to make a robot into a character.

I'm really looking at what Penn told us, not to get our hopes up.

mine is based off they said a few key mutants would take it. We have to believe that it is tested and forced upon mystique... but i think she takes it
