Halle Berry ponders a "Catwoman 2"

"When asked in a recent interview if she'd be willing to sign on for a "Catwoman 2," Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry ... actually said something OTHER than "Are you kidding me?" or "Don't be insane." As a matter of fact, she actually sounded a little interested in the idea!!

Latino Review has a brief interview segment with the lovely Ms. Berry, who's now making the press rounds for "X-Men: The Last Stand." When interviewer Kellvin Chavez got around to the "Catwoman" chatter, here's what Halle had to say:

"It was what it was but I know if we had a chance to do it again I know we'd make it better. We'll make a better story and have a better villain. I always thought we should've had a better villain than a woman who's face cracked off, but that's the past. I'm over it. (Laughs) But I would do it, I loved being Catwoman." replied Berry.

Berry continues "But if they seriously said 'We want to do another one and here's how we're going to make it better because we learned from the mistakes.' I would because I believe we could make it better. I think Catwoman is a great character that maybe wasn't presented in the right way."

Obviously. This is one of the three people on these boards who can't smell what he's shovelling. The movie flopped, Halle has gotten nothing but grief over this film, and the fact that she would even consider doing another one brands her as stupid as the asanine lunatics that defend that piece of celluloid trash that we call CINO.

It. Lost. Fifty-Five. Million. Dollars. It's over.

The fact that anyone still holds out hope for a sequel to this craptastic piece of film is pathetic. The fact that they couldn't have just revived any of the past 10 threads about this awful-ass film makes it just stupid.

Let me spoil how this thread is going to go:

1) Someone starts a thread thinking all the "hidden" CINO fans will come out to support his/her/it's viewpoint on the film.

2) The first response is someone hating ont he first film and laughing at the prospect of a second film.

3) A few dozen people join the first responder in mocking the individual who began the thread.

4) One or two more losers (who will alter be revealed to be the same poster under different screennames) will show up and attempt to pass off opinions as facts.

5) Shinlyle and the Haturz League will throw out cold hard facts to disprove everything the CINO-lovers have to say.

6) Childish insults will be thrown out by the CINO-lovers.

7) Viscious, brutal insults will be launched by the haturz.

8 ) The thread then dies, as the CINO-lovers go off to lick their wounds and wait for some other website to mention CINO so tha tthey can start the process all over again.


Why don't we skip all that, and let this thread die, and the two CINO supporters can go back to watching Monster's Ball again.

So? Halle Berry is just expressing her disappointment over the critical and financial failure of CINO, and would like to correct the mistake. I can respect the want to do good by the fans and public - I'd obviously never want to see a Patience Phillips Catwoman on the screen again - but I can respect it.

You know....I never really had anythign against Halle Berry. She's fine as hell, she's done some good films. and the writers, directors, and the producer made Catwoman the crap-fest it was....but this is the last straw. She is an imbecile. Period.

The film lost 55 million dollars, she has been ragged on for it since it's release at the Academy Awards, The Razzies, and that awards show where they made her pledge to never do another Catwoman film. If she doesn't get the fact that NO ONE wants to see her do a sequel to this film by now, then she's never gonna get it. It's been nearly two years since the film flopped like an obese kid off the high-dive, and she's still willing to entertain the though of doing a sequel?!

She is officially stupid. Hell, "Gothika 2" sounds like a better idea than a "Catwoman 2"! I fully expected her to make a sequel to "B.A.P.S (Black American Princesses)" long before she ever though of doing a Catwoman 2....
