Default Terrigenesis

Terrigenesis is for losers and ugly people. There, I said it.

As a direct result of Terrigenesis, Callisto is comatose, Freakshow is stuck in a monstrous form, and Unus the Untouchable is dead. Again. The same way he died the first time. Huh. Several other Genoshan mutants have regained their powers, with errati control. In addition, each time Pietro uses his time travel powers, they appear to affect his health adversely; Every time future pietro is seen, he looks more haggard. He's also gone totally bug**** insane.

So, let that be a lesson to you: Don't do Terrigen, unless you feel like you realy need goat legs and a five-head. Seriously, why so the Inhumans even do it? Just because they can?

The Inhumans do genetic testing to see if the outcome will be "favorable" and then I think it is still up to the individual if the risks are worth the rewards.

Terrigenisis is sort of a right of passage. Every Inhuman kid goes through it when they hit puberty. It's the parents' descision, I think. And, because of genetic testing and going through terrigenisis for milenia, they're bodies can deal with the adverse effects of it better than ours.

Well, technically, all super powered indiviudals who didn't get their powers from cyborg implants, chemicals, or being aliens are mutants because their DNA has been altered. But let's not dwell on semantics. Inhumans are not born with their abilities. They have to go through Terrigenisis to atain them.

mutants are born with an X-Factor gene that usually emergees during puberty.

Inhumans are a race of humans (in the same way that the Irish or the italians are a race I'd guess) who were experimented on by the Kree. As part of an ancient tradition they expose themselves to the Terrigen Mists which grant them powers and usually mutate their appearences. Only due to generations of selective breeding are the Inhumans able to undergo this and not emerge with serious defects. Normal or impure people who are exposed to the mists will also emerge with super abilities, but not without some kind of disasterous consequence

You know what i wonder? What's Pietro's excuse for being a jerk now? there's no metaphorical old lady at the cash machine in front of him anymore and he's still clearly a jerk. A bigger one than before even.

have you been reading the mini? Pietro went from being faster than everyone to being just as slow as them, in addition to his sister ****ing up the world, his dad wanting to kill him, and everyone hating him. The guy's become a depressed bastard

Yeah i've been reading it. My favorite part was when Spiderman berated him and he jumped off a building.
I'm not really a huge fan but it's interesting. No matter where they go with it Pietro's not getting any sympathy from me. He's insane. He ruined the world his sister didnt. He used his sister who was severely mentally unstable to ruin the world for himself. Then he kidnapped his daughter and subjected her and himself to chemicals that experts told him would be extremely unsafe. The terrigen mist is not to be used on anyone who isnt an inhuman. It makes monsters. They told him that.
His dad is right to want him dead.

He didn't ruin the wordl intentionally. He was trying to make it better. With the direction his family was heading in, he was desperate to make things happy and stable again.

He took away the free will of the entire world and rewrote it in his image because he wanted to. He thought if he played god his daddy would love him more. He's a pathetic sack of super speed garbage.

He didn't take away anytone's free will. Besides, like I said, he was in a desperate situation. His family had gone to **** and his sister was about to die. He saw it as the only way to make things better.

Why defend Pietro? The entire reason we (I) like him is because he's an arrogant sonuva*****.

I know. I'm just saying, that's not a reason to hate him. And he usually has an at least somewhat understandible reason for his periods of extreme dickishness.

So re-writing the entire world's history and changing the fate and lives of every man woman and child isnt taking away their free will to you? Nobody in the world had their free will intact. Pietro took it all away when he alone decided how everyone on the face of the earth would live, how the world would work, who would be in charge, who would be alive (reed richards, proteus, charles xavier). I'm sorry but you're wrong.

Magneto had the right reaction. There is no way what Pietro did was even remotely excusable. thats like saying if there was a single human being who was responsible for the holocaust, the hiroshima bombing, the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the slave trade and all the drug trafficking in the world it would still be forgivable because he had a troubled childhood.

It's absolutely nothing like that. That's an insane statement.

Pietro was in the wrong yes but he was trying to make wanda make things better for all people. None of those things listed are that.

As you said yourself the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
