I liked it. I wasn't too impressed with the art, but Simone's characterizations were interesting and funny. Ragdoll's inability to let go of the Parademon was nice, and the secret new addition to the team at the end was cool, even though you could see it coming a mile away.

Yup it's stuffed.
Great read though, I recomend it to anyone who enjoys shades of grey morality. |

Went Saturday, hoping it would be sold out (because I don't really have the money to start buying something new), and wouldn't you know it, they had one left. I enjoyed it, and like most minis I start, I'll end up finishing it. It pulls you in with a fast-paced opening, slows down abruptly to lay down the groundwork, and does a good job leaving you wanting more. I'd recommend it to anyone who's a fan of the characters, or is looking for something a little off the beaten track.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting the fan to be hit that early on...I enjoyed it. Can't wait for the next issue.

Nananananananana Catman! Catman! Catman!
I'm still amazed at the level of badassedness (Catman is so cool I'm making up a new word to describe him) that Gail Simone was able to instill in such a lame lame villain. I can't wait to see him and the rest of the Six branch out more. Maybe run afoul of Batman and Catwoman.

Since we're repeating ourselves.
Catman rules.

He could really use a new costume. Preferrably one that's not identical to Batman's except for the color scheme and chest symbol.

I agree with the consensus that the artwork was not up to par. Why not just have gotten the artist from the Villains United mini and one shot special?
Unless he had something more important to do. It was kind of cool but the art made it a little tough to figure out what exactly was going on sometimes. Though as long as Catman keeps on being supremely badass I'm completely happy with the miniseries. Just needs better eye candy.
