Legendary character actor James Karen (Return of the Living Dead, Apt Pupil), has let slip an intriguing piece of info about the upcoming Superman Returns while doing an interview for the DVD release of Frankenstein Meets the Spacemonster.

James Karen is portraying Ben Hubbard, the man who takes care of Martha Kent played by Eva Marie Saint. The character was mentioned in Richard Donner’s Superman: The Movie but is actually going to be seen in this film.

You could interpret "end of the picture" as near the end of it, as this is the second to last scene in the book (unless I'm mistaken). If I'm right, we know this already.

Well, I don't know for sure, but the last scene in the book was a Lois and Supes chat after he leaves the hospital...

Kinda cool to see Martha out their worried about her son who no one can know is her son. Going to to be an interesting scene I imagine.
