Well I do remeber seeing that they were suppose to have a full form of Blackheart in the movie from the comics. If from what the other person is saying that there isn't a full form, that will be upseting, because I was really looking foward to it.

I'm seeing it at 5 today. I'm a little let down. I don't feel SUPER MEGA excited as I was last week. But I'm sure it'll still be good. As long as Blackheart and GR have a good fight.

Actually I thought Blackheart was done pretty well. I mean big porcupine tendrils would've been awesome but the demon form they had was pretty cool. The overall movie was pretty good except for some messed up SFX here and there and some story edits.

The movie was good but I was a little let down that he didn't go all out as pictured previously with tendrils and all.

You guys are right, there is no full demon form of BlackHeart. The form that we actually see, from what I understand, is Legion. It was cool but, it was not BH. To me though, this is okay, because what they did was successfully create a franchise villain and in fact have left something for us to look forward to in the sequel, his full demon form... and who knows, maybe it'll be the demon we all know and love. We'll have to wait and see.

As for Wes, he was amazing in the film. I really enjoyed his performance and to add, he's an incredible guy as well. Really friendly and easy to speak with.

It was a big upset. I'm really sad that Blackheart's full demon form was NOT in it. The movie was good and all, but where the hell is thee Blackheart?! That's the only thing I don't like about it. I just hope that in the second one, we will see thee real Blackheart. (And maybe Mephisto too...)

According to the history from that link, the movie's Blackheart and storyline were pretty spot on... with the acception of a few minor changes.

Also sad there was not included the Blackheart demon form... still Legion was cool (not so much, the voice effect was just poor and weak)

I think as poorly executed as the character was by MSJ, it was acted even worse by Wes Bentley. Over the top and wooden at the same time. His Blackheart was laughable, and not at all threatening. Slapping CG demon traits on him when lighting strikes did little to help, he came off as a kid with makeup and a trench coat. He looked ok walking around, but whenever he opened his mouth it was just painfully bad. I dont know if it was the casting, direction, script or what but something, EVERYTHING, was seriously missing from that character.

I'm not just mindlessly hating either, I think that Cage did his best with Johnny Blaze and could have saved the movie if it wasnt so poor all around. He brought a Cage-signiture quirky, interesting performance to a movie that was otherwise devoid of all character and heart (and Blackheart).

When i fist saw black heart he remined me of a guy from batman beyond year one by bat in the sun productions who was that guy and was he from batman beyond? i just want to know any 1 have an idea?

i dunno about that but i loved BH for real !

well i liked BH but i didnt like how legion`s eyes looked .. if they made it dark red and with no lens that would be freakin cool .. but what freaked me out the way legion was walking toward JB .. its awesome its like a real demon !

I think MSJ really missed an oppurtunity here by not showing Blackheart's demon form. It would have made Wes Bentley's performance more acceptable probably. To show that under his spoilt kid-like persona was a big, mean, mother****ing demon would have been an excellent surprise at the end of the movie. And if they would have shown that demon beating the absolute **** out of GR would have given BH A LOT more menace.

I mean imagine the scene were JB is trying to get BH into the shadows of the church and shooting him with a shotgun. What would have been more scary, Wes Bentley surrounded by black smoke walking towards him or a big **** off 7 foot black demon with no human features whatsoever walking toward him? See what i mean?
