Well, from reading the interview, it doesn't seem like he's necessarily out of the running yet. Because Schreiber, the favorite, hasn't been contacted by anyone yet, and other than the confirmed cast, I think Hulme is the only one who's had any kind of talk with the producers at all. I think Jett took what he said for a little more than it really is.

dent has stated in interviews before that he has absolutely no interest in being in a comic book movie. and im sure that if he wanted to be in a batman film, he would have accepted nolan's offer when they were doing batman begins.

This guy turned down Nolan who offered him the Batman role but what makees you guys he will play Dent or Roman?

EDIT: I just assuming that he was offered Batman role.

No, back when BB was first in pre-production, Pearce was rumored to be playing Batman because he had worked with Nolan on Memento.

L.A. Confidential was great movie, I love it!

But I think both Jackman ans Shreiber would be even better than Pierce in this role.

The only question is why WB dont want him to be Dent???

I think it's more of him not really wanting Dent . . . plus, as it's been said before, all the Dent candidates don't really seem like they've been contacted regarding the role . . .

I'm all about Keifer Sutherland for Dent now . . .

I did a search somewhere.....actually I probably ended up at wickipedia or whatever....but it mentioned black mask as a villain in the 2nd....

it mentioned joker/dent/harley quinn/black mask...

I'd like to see another villain as a wildcard...but I have heard nothing about this otherwise...

edit: before anyone jumps the gun...I know wickipedia is garbage...more-so than even imdb...but I'm not sure where I read this info....

Like imdb, Wikipedia isn't always as reliable. Considering people can add different things to pages, or even edit them and replace it with false information. They have a sequel page made, but don't believe half the things that it has. For instance that Adam Sandler is a Joker candidate, or that Alberto Falcone will be apart of the sequel as the Holiday Killer.

Let alone, the part of the page that lists Misha Barton as a candidate for Bruce Wayne's new love interest...

Well as I read that article, he essential said that he is not involved with the sequel because no one has contacted him about a role.

He never said he wasn't interested.

I really think at this point, its up to Nolan. I think with a plumb role that the Dent/Two-Face character will be, Nolan can really have his pick of virtually anyone he wants.
