Wo- thought it was coming out June 20th! At least, that's what amazon gave the impression of. This is great- just found it at local Barnes.... regular price: $17.98. Don't know how they found the book for under that- unless it was Canadian pricing

its called padding anyone think routh is not wearing paddin is delisional, he is still big, but some aspects of his anatomy have been doctored to look more prononced

Padding aren't meant to give that bulk look, genius. It to give muscles definitions like Toby Macquire when he played Spider-Man. Same thing. Padding again are not use to give the bulk look.

The first film didn't really have a fight scene either- Superman stopping missiles and than capturing Luthor and taking him to prison. Here we get that as the first scene- Superman saving a jet, and having it land in the middle of a baseball stadium! Or Metropolis falling apart near the end of the film. Supes stopping burglars.... and so on and so forth. No 'action scene' in terms of regular superhero films. But, all of the action scenes are going to be great.

Yeah I saw it at Tower records yesterday at about 6:30. Now don't jump on me, but this is what happened. And I am not turning this into a ash the suit thread. It has relevance as it is regarding showing people images from the book. Just again, telling you what happened. I was helping my friend John with something, and we were at Tower Records at Gateway. Fantastic 4 was playing on the various TV screens around the department. I saw the book and had him come in from his car. Before I showed him it, I asked the guy who worked there that was stocking DVD's where the Superman DVD's were. He showed me and I asked him if he saw the new suit. He didn't and I had him follow me. I grabbed the STM dvd. I then took them over to the book case wall across from the cash register in the DVD department to show them the book. I showed them both the back cover of the STM dvd with Reeve on it, then I showed them the section in the book with the new suit, and the page of the S on the blue suit and the silver suit. My friend John laughed and the store guy said "That looks stupid."

That is what happened. I really want this movie to do well but I still think the movie will be awesome, but that suit may actually still be an issue.

There's a pretty cool looking pic of Superman looking down.....sort of like the shiloutte of Batman we got b4. Only with a Blue sky.

I still hear negative comments from people who see the suit the first time in a magazine or a photo. But whenever I let someone see one of the trailers (especially the international) they don't even notice the suit...they just say that the movie looks like it'll be really good.

Just goes to show...Routh and that suit are not very photogenic but on the moving screen it looks just fine.

I've said it before and i'll say it again, I LOVE how the cape looks and how it drapes over his shoulders, the cape always looked kinda puny in the original movies.
