Default Batman and Superman

I was thinking, wouldn't it be cool if there was a scene with batman and superman in future movies of the current franchaises (sorry for bad spelling). This scene(5 mins) would feature at the end in both BB3 and superman3 at the end or something (both movies would have to come out in the same year and have a connecting storyline). Nolan and Singer would direct the scene together and think about how much money both movies would make. Every would want to see this.
I thought of this because everyone wants to see bats(BALE) and superman(ROUTH) together but its unlikely they will have a whole movie about them. Or if the story of both movies are completely different, they could just film an extra dialouge scene in thier DVD for the fans. I dont know..................What do you guys think.........

With excellent script it would be exciting to see them both in one movie.

But I dont want Batman to be in Supes movie or Supes to be in Bat-movie, it would be stupid

Cool. How about an extra scene, non related to the movie? Because i seriously doubt we will get movie with them.

We almost got a movie with both of them in it before Bale and Routh were anywhere near their characters. Then Wolfgang Peterson chickened out. It was probably for the best though.

Wolfgang Peterson didn't chickened out it was WB who wanted the solo projects and Peterson went on to make Troy instead before Nolan/Singer projects came in.

Eh...maybe. I prefer name-dropping to actual cameos from other series. Most superhero movies tend to be rather isolated.

I mean, back in the day when "Batman vs Superman" was an actual possibility, that wouldn't even have been considered.

And what would they say?

Batman: "Oh...uh...hi."
Superman: "Hello."
Batman: "You...you know...you know you're wearing your underpants over your pants, right?"
Superman: "Yes. What of it?"
Batman: "So you know you're wearing your underpants over your pants? You know this? Do you know where you're supposed to wear underpants?"
Superman: "I am wearing it in the traditional fashion of my people, Batman."
Batman: "There's a whole people who don't know where wear underpants? Like - do your women wear their bras outside their shirst?"
Superman: "The women of my people do not wear bras."
Batman: "Oh - well hey. They sound pretty nice."
Superman: "They do not wear bras because they are all dead."
Batman: "Uh, wow. That was a little uncool to just drop that in there, this late in the game without telling me. You made me look like an ass."
Superman: "Rest assured, you look like an ass without requiring any of my help."
Batman: "Screw you, Superman." *fires grapling gun, swings away*

Okay then. WB made the right call, don't you think?

I say if we ever get a Batman/Superman movie, they should hire AnimeJune to write it.

Why thank you.

My current hope, however, is that the folks at Heroes for NBC ask me to write their scripts. I'd kill to be in on that, but for now, I have to settle for the Virtual Season here at Hype.

Wolfgang Peterson's script leaked online and it basically sucked. I remember that he did say in an interview in the N.Y. Daily News while promoting Troy, that he still wanted to direct the movie, but with Eric Bana as Bruce Wayne. He didn't want Bale in that role....another thing I don't like.
If there is a joint Superman/Batman project...there should be some one else brought in to write a new script and a different director. Peterson should not come close to this project.

Forgot about Supergirl. Course if Elisha Cuthbert plays her, I won't blame Supes for tapping that.

I've never been a fan of Supes so I hope it never ever happens.

An adult orientated manga style cartoon of Batman and Superman would be amazing though

Batman and Superman would not juxtapose right on screen.

In order for one to work on film you have to make the environment incredibly dark and gritty and have a verisimilitude type feel to the world.

The other requires fantasty and sci fi elements to work with bright hues and over the top epic feel to it.

In order to do have these characters together in a motion picture you'd have to do an entire movie which mixes both styles. That being said, it'd take ONE HELL OF A DIRECROR and crew to get that project right.

Film is a different medium to the comics. In the comics anything can work, because the entire medium is associated with fantastical stories. FIlm however is based on a more realistic style of storytelling.

ARe you implying that girls wear their underwear on the outside also? Why haven't I noticed this?! Must be an east coast thing...

No, I'm just making an excuse to calling Supes a chick.

Besides, I wouldn't know if it was an east coast thing. I live in Dallas.

I wouldn't mind if it was a third coast thing, though.

Bryan Singer and Christopher Nolan both qualify as "one hell of a director."
I'm sure there's someone else out there who can pull it off as well.

But his name is probably not Wolfgang Peterson.
