superman isn't that great of a fighter...he just knows how to get out of a jam and has super stgrength...

if Batman had kryptonite...Superman would be finished....he's more of a tactician

Bah...I hate when bats fans claim that batman could somehow beat superman. What is to stop superman from combining the moon with the earth and then just to be sure combining the earth with the sun. Batman himself said Clark could squash him easily if he wanted to.

And noone better bring up hush because despite that batman had kryptonite he had to stop hitting superman because he was going to break his hands. He was practically thanking god that superman was holding back against the mind control because bats knew that otherwise he would be dead. In fact I'm pretty sure the battle ended with superman holding a street sweeper in one hand ready to squash batman but lucky for bats Lois was thrown off a building so naturally superman rushed away to save her.

But anyway, I would like to see a world's finest type of movie. I was always a huge fan of bats/supes comics.

The fact that doing so would kill everyone he loves. By that logic, what's to stop Batman from firing a nuclear warhead at Metropolis and Smallville, both also filled with Kryptonite? There's more to a fight than just what the'yre phsyically capable of. You have to factor in the personalities of these characters.

Sometimes I think people take this Batman vs. Superman title a bit too literally. I mean, just because there's "vs" in the title, doesn't mean Batman and Superman will have some supersmash brothers maylay throughout the movie.

In the immortal words of Comic Book Guy - "Worst...idea...EVER!"

Mind control forcing them to fight each other? Could that BE a more ridiculous plot for a movie? It'd be fine for a 30-minute animated episode where conflict and character development take a backseat to entertaining attention-challenged 8-year-olds, but how could that possibly be strung out realistically over a feature film?

Superman and Batman don't fuel films and comic books only due to their fighting skills, but due to the choices they make and how their personalities influence their actions. If they're just puppets under the control of a mastermind and the whole movie is just one just "ThunderDome" re-enactment, how would that entertaining for two hours?

Well my point isn't that superman would go on a rampage of destruction. It's just that If we really looked at each character superman should stomp batman 9 out 10 fights. Batman winning should always be the exception. The only times batman has won in comics were elseworlds tales. Look at Superman:sacrifice. He was under mind control and beat batman into a coma. Would have killed him but the justice league base's defense system knocked out superman. Look at hush. Batman used a series of little tricks that did nothing more than slow him down. And kryptonite is never a sure win. Superman himself carries a kryptonite ring now in case he needs to fight a kryptonian. And he's used it before. Sure it's possible for batman to win a sort of fight but it is the more unlikely scenario.

Chris Nolans Batman style is exactly the opposite of supermans. Theres comic and theres the realistic style... one is "more is more", the other is "less is more".

Theyre polar opposites, unless batman is val kilmer and gotham city is rainbow colored lol
