Same here, I'm looking forward to Snake's getting down. IT's definitely going to sound better
Glad I could provide a little stopgap. Well, not like I'm even the one providing it, XM is, I'm just sorta mickey-mousing it. But I'm glad I could help.

I haven't listened to all of it, but apparently its different tracks entirely!
This one has the full "XM Radio effect", meaning it has the announcer leading into the soundtrack as well as dialogue from the film. I can make an edited one that only features the music shortly. There is a little bit of digital noise that goes along with XM, but for the most part -- and what I have listened to -- it sounds pretty decent. Here ya go! |

Quailty is very good. I honestly can't hear any noise...at least no more than what you hear on XM anyhow. I'm cranking it on my onkyo speakers right now and it sounds great.

Snake man, thanks for this.
So basically, if we were slick enough, it looks like XM is playing different cut together chunks of the score at different times, and if someone wanted to take the time to puzzle through, they could probably RE-PIECE the entire score together from listening at different times over the weekend. Which sounds fun in a geeky sort of way, until you realize the score is coming out in a couple weeks and it'll sound better there anyway ![]() Sounds like both our rips used the Bank Job cue in there.

Snakey, may Allah bless your camels for this. Strangely, it's downloading kinda slow for me, can't wait to hear it.

It's great. Ottman has a wider range of influences than most people give him credit for. He did a great job mixing Wiliams stuff with his own, that much I can say. I love that chaotic choir segment on Saving the World.

Thanks, Solid Snake. I love that your recording began with Memories, which is my favourite track, and which wasn't played in Fatboy Roberts' recording, I don't think. I can't wait for the release of the full score.

I love all the variations of the Personal Theme, there seems to be a very dark version like in So Long Superman and in some of these samples, a very happy version, and a very romantic version.
This is showing a great deal of range IMO in Ottman, or at least a harkening back to his original style.
