"On Leather Wings" was the first episode produced, but the first episode that aired was "The Cat and the Claw Part I".

The Cat and the Claw: Part I - Episode 1, Production #13
First aired on September 5th, 1992 On Leather Wings - Episode 3, Production #1 On Leather Wings was the second to be written... It became the pilot for the series... It originally aired on September 6, 1992. The Cat and the Claw: Part II - Episode 2, Production #16 First aired on September 12th, 1992 This info from Wikipedia. Those dates don't seem to jive though. I distinctly remember watching On Leather Wings first (granted, that was 14 years ago). |

Batattack was right. The first episode to actually air was Cat and the Claw. It aired on Fox networks during primetime.

It's true, Cat and Claw aired first. Although I've always considered On leather wings to be the true first episode.
