And so what if the Krytpon costumes are made of tin foil or whatever? Big deal. Most of the time Superman's costume is made of spandex. Is tinfoil somehow less campy than spandex or something? lol It's not like it was plainly obvious.. and if I'm not mistaken, that's not tinfoil, that's some sortof reflective material. What I say is, as long as the movie isn't making fun of the subject matter, I'm fine with it. It doesn't have to be dead serious all the time. Lighten up.

And I never said the movie was bad, I even said I liked it. Its just that its corny moments made me like the film less than SR. I see nothing wrong with that.

And there's now a kid in the comics. Are you sure this "true spirit of Superman" of yours actually exists?

Really, I think the worst area of camp in STM was with Luthor and Otis. I think if Luthor and his cronies had remained somewhat ominous (like, say, they were in SR), it would've kept Superman with a legitimate threat and evil opposition and would've allowed for Superman, and Clark, and Jimmy to be campy without bringing the movie down to any large extent.

The newest issue of Action Comics features a Kyptonese-speaking child who crash lands in some short of space capsule in Metropolis. Who (and whose
) he is hasn't been revealed yet.

1. Richard dies= cop out. 2. Richard and Lois break up= bad for the kid, Richard is the father he's known, and Superman can never replace him. HOw sad, Superman can never be the true father to his own son. 3. Jason dies, Lois and Richard break up= why even make SR. 4. Lois leaves Richard for Superman= Lois is selfish and can't see what is best for her child and is being completely unfair to Richard. |
