Anime/Manga live action movies (Should they or shouldnt they)
I thought it would be a good idea to discuss this topic. How long do you think Hollywood will take until they notice that there are awsome manga/anime storys good for the live action screan. I know it would be hard to do most of them justice but what would yous like to see and what wouldnt yous like to see.

James Cameron has Battle Angel Alita after Project 880
DBZ has been rumored for a while Evangelion has been in ssssssssssssllllllllllllllllooooooooooowwwwwwww development As a film student, i'd love to make Inuyasha or Rurouni Kenshin |

Monster & Death Note are being, or have been, made into movies. Both are doable since they don't invole anything that's over the top like Gundam Wing & DBZ.
I know that the Death Note movie has been on top of Japanese box office for 2 weeks now. Now I hear Hollywood wants to do an americanize version of it's own. It can be good or ****  Blood is also being made. Should be interesting As for anime(s) I like to see make the jump into a live action movie ... Gungrave ... easily doable. Naruto ... why the hell not. Basilisk got one done for it. Cowboy Bebop Gundam Wing ... imagine what the budget on this would be  Samurai Champloo, Peacemaker, Samurai X, or whatever samurai anime you can think of .... would do just fine

Peacemaker would be kick ass...!
I love that series. Witch Hunter Robin supposedly is in developments for a live action tv series. Don't forget that lots of anime/manga series were madei nto live action television shows in Japan: Tramps Like Us (manga) Cromartie (manga/anime) Hana Yori Dango (Meteor Garden) Manga/anime Sailor Moon, yes I've seen it... Tons other's too.

I'm so waiting for Naruto. It could work. Along with the rumored Sailor Moon Movie.
I'd also kill to see a live action Inuyasha! Years Agon I even though up half of the cast...

I really liked the live action adaptions to NANA, Touch, GTO and Gokusen. And even though GTO wasn't as close to the manga as some of the other live action shows, it captured the spirit quite well.
Reimagining of older manga/anime is also a possibility. I thought It was done with Cassern quite effectively. However, there is the bad side of this such as the Devilman and Fist of the Northstar movies. |

I really wanna watch the WHR show, but the last I heard was that SciFi got their hands on the deal, and they screw up pretty much everything they touch
 And the Live Action Sailor Moon cracks me up to no end  Ha!

LOL, POkemon live action would sort of be cool, the fight sceens between some of the good animal looking pokemon would be cool, ot sure about alot of them though.
I have always wanted to see Akira. Supposivly Warner Bros bought it so I guess they are thinking about it |
