Default Police Academy 8 In 2007.

I can't be certain if this is rumor or fact but i have read on the net where they are doing a Police Academy 8. With the original cast. I am glad to see this happen. If this is true. It will be good to see Steve Guttenberg as Mahoney. Anyway i got the info from Internet Movie Database.

Iit had this as the cast in Police Academy 8. No doubt to be change for Mahoney always has a new love interest.

1 Steve Guttenberg----------- Carey Mahoney.
2 G.W Bailey ---------------- Lt. Harris.
3 George Gaynes----------- Eric Lassard.
4 Micheal Winslow--------- Larvel Jones.
5 Bubba Smith ----------- Moses Hightower.
6 Leslie Easterbrooke ------- Debbie Callahan.
7 Marion Ramsey --------- Sgt Hooks.
8 Tim Kanzinsky ---------- Offcier Sweetchuck.
9 Procter.
10 Fackler.

I am hoping to see Donavan Scott, The guys who played Copeland and Flanks. And Zed. That would be the complete cast. Unfortunatly David Graf died so they ahve to find another gun nut. It says that Hugh Wilson will also be back to direct this movies. I know they may have to get alot of ensure but i am glad they are bringing the original cast back and not have a remake done.

I bet this movie will be alot like Police Academy 3 with new recruits for it is police academy movie.
I wonder if they will have a Podium joke but have it played on Lt. Harris this time.

IMDB shouldn`t be trusted until after the film comes out

Anyway 8? no no it went south after 4 when Steve stopped doing them.

I thought George Gaynes passed away a few years ago? What could he possibly do in the movie with him approaching 90 years old?

I think it's fake, and if it's real, they just need to stop.
Wasted money and time is what this project is.

eh... this is the kind of movie they can do a pseudo sequel (ie: new cast) to without pissing anybody off, in my opinion.

like, who cares if some new director and cast "piss on" the police academy franchise? it has, with the exception of the guy who makes noises, always more or less sucked.

Reading this news is like reading the apocalypse will be in 2007.
It's probably not true though.
