Default The characters's "THEN & NOW" THREAD

Like there isn't a thread like this, I've created one, to talk about the evolution of each character of this franchise, specially the x-men, in terms of look, and all what you want.

I like how Jean's hair evolved... from long to medium and wavy...to really really long

I'll start with one of my favourites:

I'll post more pics of her to see better her evolution in the franchise, although if any of you want it to do it, could do it too.

To start with a down point, Rogue pretty much didn't evolve at all throughout the whole trilogy of movies....

EDIT: Unless you're talking about the way she looked...

in terms of personality, her evolution has been short, but there was one, and in terms of look, it's clear, she is more mature physically now.

I think Rogue had the most evolution between X1 and X2, she was slwoly becoming more like her comic counterpart...the confidence (after the "hair line" she was ready to fight, the kiss etc.) but still a little bit of X1's Rogue (the plane flying etc.)

In X3, she didn't really have much to "evolve" into, and she pretty much ignored what happened in X2 and reverted to the X1 character, lost and confused.

And...I thought it was interesting In X1, the original four seem like the X-kids...but they slowly evolved into the "adults"

I think scott devolved or something...hahha...not only less and less screentime but i mean he came across as more of a leader in the first, then it slowly declined from there.

Yes, i like pyro as a blonde too, much like flaming pyro from the comics and such. but for some reason i think the dark matched his personality, especially in X2.

I'd say she's second..she's become very strong and a leader...at times.

Wolverine has evolved as well....he's more of a domestic cat now. I don't think his evolution was necessarily expected, I would have always thought him to always be the same Wolverine, always a loner. Instead...he's become the "dad" of the X-men, and Storm the "mom"

Jean I would say has evolved the most...personality wise and powers. She was very reserved, and shy in X1, slowly grew in X2, and in X3, to the max haha.

Professor X switched presonalities in X3 like Storm, but Magneto was the same virtually.

bobby was pretty much the same, what do you think...he grew into his powers more near the end of the franchise (well, X3, only really the battle, but there are lots of development problems, we wont even go there lol)

Wolverine is still the same smart ass who doesn't wanna be told what to do...did I just get anrgy?j\k Storm has definatley evolved even though she gets pushed around a little in X3. Jean DEFINATLEY evolved. One moment she wants to make out, the next, your demoleculerized. Iceman..well he hasn;t evolved much...has he?

Thanks 3rdReality! Those Storm shots are beautiful.

Personally, I didn't see anything wrong with Storm's wig in X1. Except for the bangs. The Bangs of Doom.

Edit: Apart, from the eyebrows, Famke looks totally different in all 3 shots, and I'm not just saying her hair.

i also liked X1 Storm's hair because it was long and those lightnings flowing through it is a really nice effect. But the bangs, oh the bangs...they destroy it. Maybe if they had X3 hair in a long lenght it would bee great.
Rogue looked best in X2 as i said, in X3 she has never make-up, you can see acne, and even when she wears her uniform, she looks waaaaaay better in X2, since i hated that hair of hers all up in the danger room. She stole the scene in the president's office in X2 for me, she was a sexy bomb in that leather, which didnt happen this time.
Famke looks best in X3, no doubt.

I think Rogue looks best in X2 and her character was the best in X2 as well.

I loved jeans hair in X2 and storms hair in X3.

What about the guys, i guess they didnt really change much in terms of looks but some say that wolvie's hair looks different. Jean looks great in X3, liked storm in X1 and X2 but not X3. Anna looks good to me either way, I think. Haha, biggest physical transition? Kitty :P hehhe
