^ hahaha, ok ok. What about Cyke's character transition! I guess we didn't see enough of him (comparable to say Storm and Logan) to really assess where his character was going, IMO

ahaha. As far as his decision to give more effort to SR, maybe Marsden made the right choice considering how X3 did in terms of plot and general hubbub. Oh well. Wanted to see him really become that leader, the new headmaster after Charles

Well Rogue for me definitly chaged a lot...
1. She got way more prettie.
2. She stands up for herself.
3. Becomes an X-Men for a while.
4. Takes her life in her own hands.

i think rogue sort of looked the same throughout, no? Well I at least always thought she looked good. Lol, becomes an X-Man "for a while". I think it would have shown more of her taking her life in her own hands if she decided to keep her powers and not take the cure...showing she's grown to accept and understand her powers, i guess personal growth as a person. Knowing this is who she is and she doesn't hafta change "for Bobby" or watever.

Well I liked the scene where she says.

Bobby: "This isn't what I wanted".
Rogue: "Noit's what I wanted".

Yea, I don't think she changed at all either, but I'm ok with it because it still served as part of the story for each film. She was alienated in X1, started to feel more accepted with Bobby until she realized she could never get close to him (X2), and in X3 she remained alienated and that's why she took the cure.

I'm anxious to see where X4 takes this, because I have a feeling that now she's going to remain at the school but be more alienated than ever- Bobby probably won't feel the same around her (damaging their relationship big-time... cue Gambit), she'll be the minority at the school, and some of the students who are proud to be mutants will most likely be offended by her. Like I said though, her arc, although not completed, has still been a good one.

Honestly, I think the most dynamic so far- in terms of story and not character trait- has been PYRO, hands down.

-X1 introduced him as a cameo, so no development.

-X2 we realized that he's a little envious of Bobby and doesn't fit in with the X-Men. He probably has family issues. and we see how much he enjoyed attacking the police- suggesting he's definitely a victim of society. Then by the end, not fitting in, he leaves and joins Magneto, thinking there's common ground.

-X3 we see him with Mags, but we see him disagree with keeping Pheonix, we see him "reprimanded" by Magneto for saying he wanted to kill Xavier, and we see him disagreeing with leaving the cured Mystique- he still doesn't fit in... he's being built up to just be a violent, angry mutant who's mad with everyone (and again, from his destroying the clinic and fighting Bobby, we see him enjoying the violence).

While he's been a sort of "social misfit" in the films, he's been building towards that conclusion over the films, switching sides, and that's why I say he's the most dynamic.

I really hope they close out his arc in X4 the way it should be done.

Better shot at Storm.

X1: She had the most awful weave that I have ever seen in my entire life. Too much pink makeup.

X2: Shorter and better hair but still ugly. More natural make up.

X3: Best look so far. Natural make up. "Realistic" weave.

talking about evolution of the characters, that's how I want Rogue end evolving:

maybe the Rogue of X5, in X4 is a little soon.

the only thing that has changed was his age
You can tell in X3 that he has aged.

That's because that was filmed when he had his long hair for Van Helsing.

There are characters who don't change that much, especially male characters. Female characters seem changed because mostly they change their haircuts like Storm or Jean and even Rogue. Mystique seems pretty much the same.

I couldn't have said it better myself!

It's not so much a trilogy, as more like 2 films plus a "what-if" alternate reality film #3.

I don't think he has changed at all...... that is the one character who didn't change whatsoever other than the fact he's obviously wearing new/different clothes possibly.
