Reading the notes in the Absolute version I didn't know the Superboy and Supergirl we saw with the Legion was Kon-El and Matrix Supergirl. I also love that Orion scene with him and Superman worked really well together.

Superman can't save the whole world, he doesn't want to kill any bad guys blah blah then he becomes almost big brother type or he goes into hiding but the world needs him.. I dunno all seem the same to me but I still enjoy them

Isn't the whole Superman story, he can save the whole world but if he did, people wouldn't learn to help themselves. So he can't actually help too much.
Cause in Red Son, he completely saved Russia but Lex Luthor (of course) points out the fatal flaw in Superman doing that. Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:

Reads like a fan-service.
I really didn't see anything to get all excited about except if I was a pedantic "I know everything about DCU history" type person, in which case I'd enjoy the "spot the hero/villain" sequences of pages which pretty much make up the entire book. It doesn't help that I think Ross does awful sequentials... |
