why the **** do i need an email every ****ing time my pm box is full here!?

why the **** do i get an email about EVERY thread that is created!!!!!!????

for more than 2 years ive dealt with this ****!...300emails(non-spam) every ****ing month!

PLEASE MODS how do i stop it!?

Deselect the "Email from the Admins" option, maybe? I have it selected, but that's for moderation purposes.

Are you using an AOL email address? The email system has been known to do odd things with AOL email addresses, and AOL's system doesn't interact very well with the email system to boot. If you are, try another email address in your profile.

Advice From Beyond

For the PM box being full, I dunno but I don't see how that's a problem for a guy with nearly 14.000 posts unless he refuses to delete a lot. Tough **** for him.

For every thread being created: ask him if the new threads he receives emails about are for forums he subscribes to. If so, tell him to unsubscribe from all those forums and resubscribe but WITHOUT "email notification once a day".
He will be asked that when he hits "subscribe to forum"

I suggest do the following:

1) Goto your Subscriptions Page

2) Click the box on the right on ALL the threads you are subscribed to. (for Page 1 of the many pages you are subscribed to. Scroll Down, then pick the Drop Down menu for Selected Threads - Pick NO EMAIL SUBSCRIPTIONS

3) Then hit go.

4) Then you need to goto the NEXT PAGE of your subscriptions and do steps 2 thru 3 again. Then the next page...ect till you have updated all your subscriptions. Either do this or simply DELETE your subscriptions.

as you have 14,000 posts, you're probably subscribe to 1,000+ threads, so Malice's method would be quite time consuming. It's unlikely that your oldest subscribed threads will be bumped that often, so it'd advise you follow Malice's instructions but only do the most recent 100-200 threads to save yourself some time

I would reccommend just going to the last few hundred threads and simply unsubscribe them.

I jsut did about 500 myself.
