Yeah I didn't get that one either. The only thing that I could think of is that everyone would be busy at that time - I know Hugh is doing his arena tour then.

Great pics Narrows.

I hope the film does as well as expected in Japan. I wasn't sure if they would bother promoting X3 properly now that it has been out for so long everywhere else so this is a very good sign.

Maybe thats the reason but its still something like 2 months ahead of time. Fox probably thought better early than never.

Elektra and FF did well there for Fox and they sent cast members out to promote those movies there too.

Yay, I'll be there in like three weeks.

I wonder if they feel awkward doing foreign media... because they look it.

Do you think they are all tired out and ready to move on from promoting this movie? I would be ...

They sure get around. Cannes, Canada, Korea, NYC, California, London, never a dull day

But that is kinda wierd to promote a movie that early. Wonder how crazy the promotion campaign is over there. By now the fans should know that there's some deception involved if they happen to be Angel or Cyclops fans

Yeah like antariksh already said, FF made $9,081,369 in Japan. I'm not sure about Elektra i do remember that it opened well but i'm not sure what it made cause the info was in the Elektra Hype! boards and thats been buried now. Bob Sapp went their to the premiere and stuff.

http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/...id=elektra.htm

All in all i think its worth the effort to send the cast to Japan.

Thks Retro & Antariksh.

I agree, it is worth making a good marketing effort in Japan if we can get more than the X1/X2 gross there.

Old? I don´t think so...besides, Hugh always has had many lines around his eyes since I can remember , that appear specially when he´s smiling or laughing.
He always looks gorgeous to me!
