Since we've already covered the discussioon of who's the best lead singer, guitarist and drummer, there's only one poll left:
Out of these choices, who is the best rock bassist? For me, there's only one choice: JOHN ENTWISTLE ![]() He was the first man to make the bass a truly prominent instrument in rock and roll, he created the greatest bass solo of all time in "My Generation", and he quite simply puts all other bass players to shame (the only one who comes close is John Paul Jones). Who's your pick?

No love for Jaco, eh? How about Billy Sheehan, then? Les Claypool probably deserves a shout-out, too.

Still it's not as bad as leaving Townshend off a "Best Guitarist" poll. That's a travesty. But yeah, I left some good ones off.
