come on you all know it... hard to describe so if someone could get an old sound bit link to the trasformer sound.... when they trasform that is.
I know a DJ firend of mine that can mimic that sound with certain records... I always liked it

Well i doubt we'll get the exact classic sound. Maybe an updated version. I wouldn't mind the sound in the teaser trailer.

It was adequate, but not very inspiring considering it's one of those things everyone remembers about the show. I hope they can cleverly work it in there somehow but I won't boycott or anything if they can't.

if they don't use it as the actual transformation sound, they could use it in another way. like, say the military is briefing soldiers on the transformers and they so like a computer diagram of one transforming, they could use the sound there.

Watch the 1st Transformers movie. There is a scene where the Constructicons form Devestator inside Astrotrain. That is the best version you may ever hear of the transforming sound effect. Check it out.

Let's hope so!
If it's not, I won't be bothered...but Michael Bay's just corny enough to do it.

I'm thinking they'll probably use a version of it...only it'll sound a lot more mechanical and the pitches will be a lot deeper in tone.

As much as I'd love to hear the classic transforming sound in the movie, I get the feeling that they won't and instead go with a more realistic mechanical sound. Possibly something like the sound used in Beast Wars, gears and servos moving, that kind of thing.
