Much like marvel is doing, DC is doing DTV's of cartoons based on the comics, not connected to the Timmverse.
Darwyn Cooke and Stan Berkowitz are working on the new frontier Bruce Timm is working on Superman/Doomsday Marv Wolfram and Tom Desanto are working on the Judas Contract |

All of these sound wonderful!
All of these from what I understand will look like their comic counterpart as far as art. I like what DC President Paul Levitz said about fans having other suggestions for other stories to be adapted ( Newsarama said he said it check here... www.newsarama.com/SDCC06/DC/dcu.html ) Here are mine...... 1.) Batman: Year One 2.) Batman: Hush 3.) Batman: The Dark Knight Returns 4.) The Golden Age 5.) Superman: Whatever Happened To the Man Of Tomorrow? 6.) Batman: The Long Halloween 7.) Batman: Strange Apparitions 8.) Batman: The Man Who Laughs 9.) Batman: The Killing Joke 10.) Superman:Birthright You guys got any suggestions? |

Bruce Timm said that DC is suppossed to announce his next project, officially, on saturday at the comic con.
Did they? Is he working on New Frontier, or Death of Superman? |

If DC did DTV animated films based on popular storylines in the dynamic Bruce Timm style, I'd be a very happy fanboy.

Where the hell are Flash and Green Lantern Animated films? Hell, even Wonder Woman should get one before hitting the big screen.

See! What they can't do in live action they can deliver in animation, as the should be.

Is the animation going to be in the B:TAS or are they going for a different look.
I notice all will be PG13. Should rock. |

This is great news. Anything Bruce Timm touches is instant gold. Now, is this Superman - Doomsday the Death of Superman in animated form? Because that rules. Or will it be a new idea of it with the Doomsday from Justice League Unlimited? I would rather it be straight adaption from the comics, like Ultimate Avengers was. With just a few changes.

This gets more exciting.....
Question.... At the bottom of the page sent out by WB discussing the projects, It says Other DC Properties with films in development include Green Lantern, Flash, and Wonder Woman. I take for granite this means live action? |

I'm pretty sure it implies more DTV animated movies for those characters.

If I were to tell you any plot details, it would probably ruin the story.

Anyone remember the cancelled catwoman batman beyond story DTV?
I think now's a good time to bring that up again. I would love to see what happened to Selina Kyle. |
