What's all this about Greg Land photoshoping? He's a good artist even if he does use poses he's seen elsewhere.

It goes beyond that when he uses the same exact poses he drew somewhere else on another comic. Like the Ultimate Cap on the cover.

it was a promotional pic. why are you making out this is a greg land exclusive faux pas? people colour using computers nowadays. thats wrong. cutting up something he's actually drawn is fine by me, as long as the comic itself has original art in it..

This is from Ultimate Fantatsic Four #21, as you can see its not a promo pic, I think its not much to ask for some original art.

I agree, its still pretty to look at but my beef is when he just reuses art he did in one book for another. The modeling stuff doesnt bother me at all.

ok,ok, i'll stop talkin bout this now, but are you saying this cap pic had been copied from another drawing already printed in a previous comic? that i wouldnt like but if its just he flipped the image for the promo at the top, i really don't think its that bad. but yeah, guess if it looks pretty... *mumbles to himself*

Its the same image of Cap on the cover just reversed.

Then again, better that he reuses old pics instead of having to do it all from scratch and taking extra long like Granov or somebody.

No, he literally traces. The issue where Magneto was in Ultimate FF, he had his hands on his head, it was the EXACT same pose from Troy, all the prorportions were the same. Someone posted the pic here on the Hype.

I really dont care, cuz it looks pretty, but I dont call him an Artist.

not to mention topher grace being traced to transform into reed richards. pretty or not, greg land is a hack.

Yep. All his Doom pictures are traced from photos of a Doom statue.
