Red/Blue/Yellow are the only games that exist to me. F**k them for f**king their own franchise with adding new Pokemon and characters.

Yeah, Red and Blue were the only Pokemon games that I played on a regular basis as a young lad.

Now, I find Pokemon to be a game/show even too lame for 8 year olds.

Red/Blue/Yellow games = Very enjoyable, I loved being able to kick ass with Mew.

I actually have FireRed and it's basically an updated version of the originals with new Pokemon. F**kin' jeez.

Pokemon is a pretty sweet game. I don't like the show, the games are pretty fun. I'm gonna get Diamond eventually. Or maybe I'll just wait for the inevitable third one.

All the games are good, but I have to agree that Red and Blue was the pinnacle of the series. To me, those were the best pokemon. After Gold and Silver, it felt like they just stopped caring.

I may get it if my friend will since we both were both got into FireRed and LeafGreen. I'm interested in how it'll incorporate the DS.

Red and Blue are definately the best. All of those pokemon seem classic. After Silver and Gold it just got kinda dumb and meaningless with all the new pokemon. In R/B, I can name pretty much every pokemon. After those games there are too many to care about.

Japan gets it Sept. 28, so we'll be seeing it around December or January.

Yeah, why are they still making Pokemon games. The only ones I played were Yellow, Red, and Blue. That was a long time ago.

Lets make this into a serious thread:
*The new region is called Shinou.It appears to be much larger than previous regions and is said to have a large under ground world.
*Day and Night are comeing back,but with a more detailed system including:morning,noon,evenining,night and dawn.
*You can trade over your 3rd gen pokes
*Nintendo Wi-Fi will be utilised to allow online battles,chat,TRADE etc. with anyone the world.
*The battle mechanics in the game have changed from attacks being demmed physical or special based on type,to being determined on an individual basis,based around,but not limited to contact,eg.Thunder Punch is now Physical and Hyper beam is now Special.
*The Starters MAY change to Dark/Psychic/Fighting.
*The pokemons sprites vary between gender,eg.Male Wooper's antennae are bigger than female Wooper's,female Scizors Abdomen is bigger than the males,Butterfree's wing colorations vary between gender,etc.
*There will be no new types,but many new type combo's.
*Their have been 17 new pokemon released.More on them when i feel like typing more.

That's really late. I'd say late-October to mid-December. They'll definately want one of the biggest franchises out in time for the holidays.

I noticed on Wikipedia that the male and female pokemon will have slight alterations to their physical appearences. They showed the female Scizor having a larger abdomen (bottom) than the male.
