I'm not a writer, but the idea of Jason growing up in the trilogy is stupid. Superman needs to be with Lois so I don't believe the movies are going to allow the child to age beyond two years. They may have to change child actors, but the kid is going to stay a kid.
If Singer is smart: The second movie will deal with why Supes and not Richard needs to be Jason's father. The third movie will be Lois and Supes getting together. |

Sucks to be Richard, doesn't it.
No I think Jason will grow up to become supe's sidekick and train with him. This isn't the simpsons and adults though I guess most have kids, probably don't care to watch kiddies in every comicbook movie running around with garbage pails on their heads so WB will require Jason to age for demographic reasons, maybe cast a young pop singer as the Jason for the sequel to get teenage girls to see it, stuff like that.

Re: Cast a teenage Jason
Guys. By the time they're using Richard in any of the movies in a heroic capacity, the actor will probably be a teenager.

I really hope Jason remains a non-factor in the sequels, don't age him just let him stay at home with Lois.

Down with Jason. I don't want Superman & Son running around. In fact, that sounds like heroes for hire: "In trouble? Don't fuss, Call us. SUPERMAN & SON!"

How about Kate Bosworth???
She already looks like a 12 year old boy. Hmm...Skandar Keynes was a pretty great suggestion actually. |

How about Zac Efron? He has that "super-babyface" look that Tristan Lake Teabu has.

Leave Tristan to play Jason. And let the thread die. Please. |

You're onto something with that die part....
Not the thread, just the SR franchise. |

I personally, don't want the story to jump any farther ahead in to the future, so, I don't see why we would need to cast a teenage Jason (unless, his half alien genes , make him age faster or something
) I mean, do we want another 7-10 time leap to where Jason is a teenager, I think if anything, they might have to recast to a different young kid, so, that he is still 6-7 in the next movie, when ever it happens (or just keep him and let time past, how long it takes them to make the next one) (though, (IMO) I’d prefer the sequel to be continuous and not have to much time past inbetween) With that said in the spirit of the thread, i might say, Hunter Gomez or how about the Sprouse twins LOL ![]() you get two,... two jasons in one lol |

(hell...he was oscar worthy compared to Jake Llyod) er...ok...I thought he was kinda innocent and cute. Only problem I had with Tristan was...he needed a haircut wicked bad. Also I forget who posted it (I'm sorry) but I like the idea of keeping Jason a kid (the Simpsons have been kids for what 20 years?) |

![]() How about Jar Jar Binks. Both characters are utterly pointless and we'll never see either ever again. Last edited by matthooper; 10-09-2007 at 06:13 PM. |
