I like his Joker but it was very over the top and slap stick. The problem was "no one dare say anything bad about Jack" same way they do with Johnny Depp now. I think the Joker could be less bouncing off the walls and more sinister than Jack's. One good thing about Ledger is he is young and probably can still throw a punch. Maybe Joker and Batty will have an actual fight scene in this one instead of Joker sending his goons. The goons weren't bad but I like to see an old fashion showdown fight at the end. That goon named Bob was funny in Batman 1.

Remember this:
Joker: "Bob...gun." Bob gives Joker the gun and Joker shoots Bob. That was f***ing hilarious and still is.

If a character has been around for 50+ years and has developed a history of "killing is wrong" (no matter what a few early stories tell), and then a writer took the character and turned the character into a killer, then YES they dont get the character.

Yes, it puts him on higher moral ground than say the Punisher. It makes him a more heroic figure.

Because, really....killing people CAN be justified. This country, the U.S., still has capital punishment, atleast in enough states.....so, there's got to be something to killing bad guys....

That is after Trial and Jury though. Killing people with out such trials is an unAmerican and, yes, unheroic.

I think I may have. The idea of executing punishment without a trial goes against everything in the constitution. To be truthful I know very little about the Punisher - if this is what he does without exception, then yes - his means are unAmerican.
