Isn't it funny how Lana basically sucks at relationships? Clark, Ian (JTT), Jason, the magnetic dude, that guy from Lost, Lex (eventually), Clark again, and prolly some other dudes I can't remember.

Only in SV can a girl looking as beautiful as Kristin Kreuk can have problems gettin' a guy.

But then again...I wouldn't be surprised if they had ANOTHER go around for Clana sometime this season.

You know what I thought would've been interesting? If TPTB introduced a NORMAL boyfriend for Lana, kinda like the SR route w/ Richard White.

Alas, that's never gon' happen. It would've created an interesting dynamic to the show IMO, introducing a geniune good guy/boyfriend for Lana to the show that ISN'T Clark.

Yeah but he was also kind of a jerk. I'm talkin' a goody goody...someone that is as much of a boyscout as Clark is. Someone that Clark can't NOT like...a genuine nice guy that is good to Lana, etc.

Now if I were Lional Luthor I would be watching my back, each of her three main boy friends lost a parent while going with her. If you're a character that doesn't need to live i.e. Clark and Lex stay away from her, you will be dead inside the year.

There was a poll on another site asking who was the best boyfriend for Lana and I voted Whitney. He was totally dedicated to her and loved her completely. He was immature to begin with, but he really stepped up, especially at the end of the season.

Too bad she didnt feel the same way.

Whitney got so much hate I remember in Season 1 people really wanted him to go. But he would have been interesting to keep in terms of character development. But that would be asking to much...

Personally I would have like to see her with another future DC character for fun

Back to the best boyfriend for Lana, and excluding Clark (because he's perfect and has no competition, ever), I really liked Jason. He was adorable, and sweet, and I think he really loved her. Granted, the Oedipal leanings overshadowed by homicidal tendencies were a bit of a drawback, I know. Other than that, he was great...!

i hated that when we first saw him because when Lana kissed him in just thought, "wow lana turned into a ****". And what was with all that trivel he was on aboutt he gift. Who does that? You just go "here you go here's you present we're going away this weekend happy aniversary".

Thing about Jason is I'm not convinced he was meant to go bad originally.
I thought he was a great character when he was introduced, he was a funny character. But eventually I think fan outcry of her needing to be with Clark won over, so they made him go bad. I didn't like how they ruined what I thought was a great new character.

He was a good character, and worked really well with Lana. They had good chemistry together. But oh well, he's dead now, so no use worrying about it.
