I thought that was very silly looking. It was very bright and (blame the trailer if you will) the humor was either lame or ripped off. yikes. Not to mention the acting..... blech!

I thought the footage looked awesome and the CG has been improved a whole lot. But as far as trailers go I didn't think it was very well put together. The teaser flowed ALOT better than this, so I'm hoping the final cut of the movie will silence those who had misgivings about this trailer. The action looks great, but the way it was edited or something kinda took the integrity away that I felt the teasers had.

OK, my impressions:

Loved the overall format of the trailer. It was very satisfying. It gave you a little bit of everything, action, humour, scares, love, and you saw and heard all the major characters. I've always liked the Goth girl gag, so it was cool to see that in, and the "my skull's on fire" line. The new shots of GR in action were really exciting (especially the cop car collision). It showed enough to get you hyped without giving too much away, just like the best trailers. I also think it was a canny decision to not reveal the transformation because I'm now willing to sell my granny to see it.

Thought the FX were better than what we've seen so far, but there's still room for improvement. The flame looks better than ever and the skull is solid, but some of the shots looked a liiiiiiiiiittle cartoony (like the flying ghoul guy). They bothered me. Don't blame me, blame Pirates of the Caribbean 2. Now, them were some awesome FX.

Was underwhelmed by Ghost Rider's voice. It was alarmingly light. I expected something meatier, scarier, more resonant. I didn't feel it would 'shake the theatre'. However, I don't have a home cinema system, just a wee pair of PC speakers so maybe it will.

But, yeah, it was a super trailer overall and I can't wait to see it on the big screen.

i don't know. the GR effects look great, but there's something not right about it.

maybe it's Nic's performance when he's not GR.
maybe it was how bright and cheery some of the shots were.
maybe it was how gritty it wasn't.

i dunno. this might be the next Daredevil. if so, i'll wait for the director's cut, thank-you kindly.

Blackheart and Mephisto is very cool!!! "Looking for someone!?"
And that fast transformation of GR at the end is marvelous!

I think the action is going to be fantastic, and the visuals amazing. If I'm being honest though, from the trailer it seems there may be some serious issues with the dialogue.. but it's just the trailer, so we'll see.

I'll be in that cinema come release though.

Looks awesome. Everything looks good. Looks like a fun flick. The voice was pretty much what I expected but with less bass for some reason. Up that and it's exactly like I always imagined.

Hope we get to see Blackheart all tentacle-like though. And I love how Mephisto actually LOOKS like Mephisto while still in humanoid form.

Just good cinema fluff fun like Daredevil and The Punisher and I dig that.

overall i really liked it...the cgi was spotty at times mostly w/ the human looking demons showing part of thier true nature. GR however looked great!
i even liked his voice! most important thing was that he sounded nothing like Cage...very important. voice could be a little deeper but im sure that can be improved on..
now the acting...well....some of it was good...some of it im iffy on. Cage was very deadpan in some of those scenes....like "Im going to use this curse against you" and "You deserve a second chance". will have to wait and see him in action on screen to see how he handles the character though.
looks like they reshot the goth girl interview scene...wish they didnt use it but oh well.
im sure the trailer will look much better in the theaters since everytime movie studios post trailers in Quicktime they ALWAYS brighten everything up. tends to wash out alot of detail it seems
the tone and feel of the movie looks great...can tell this will be one fun movie
