So what will be the differences between the GC Twilight Princess and the Wii Twilight Princess?
First of all, obviously, the Wii has the new controller. That will make a big difference in gameplay and controls, especially since we've learned they've integrated the sword fighting with the motion of the controller. Fishing, bow and arrow, among others will be done by moving the controller about. Kick ass, can't wait. What concerns me though, now they've integrated the sword fighting with controller motion. When you play gun games at the arcade, it's fun and all, but you get tired real quick. Won't you get tired having to flick the controller about to sword swipe all the time?? What about graphics? Much of a graphical difference? Anything else in game we will see on the Wii but not on the Gamecube? I've heard TP is going to be a MASSIVE game. |

Actually, I heard that the Wii version of Twilight Princess will not feature updated graphics, only widescreen display. Miyamoto said that instead of spending time updating the graphics, they were going to add additional content like dungeons, characters, items, etc. Miyamoto also said that the Wii version is the superior version.

And yeah, it's going to be massive. Rumors circulating the net indicate that it will take 45 REAL minutes to cross Hyrule on Epona.

That rumor sounds suspicious. What would that even be based on?

And there's always the warp songs. But I always liked taking the scenic routes in Ocarina of Time.

Same here. I want to enjoy Hyrule's beauty.... but not 45 mins worth. Either way, this is a lock for greatest launch title of all time.

Will you be able to play the Wii version using the GC controller or the Wii regular controller?
![]() Im having a tought time deciding which to get. Wii will probably be better, but i can get the GC version right away, while it might take a while before getting a Wii

I imagine, like someone said above, it will be 30 mins from one remote point to another. I imagine that this Zelda game will have ALOT more places to visit. Last edited by kainedamo; 09-06-2006 at 05:40 AM. |
