To Boosted: Im relatively new to photoshop myself, so im not sure what to tell you. Theres numerous ways you can cut out pictures.. i take the longer (and i mean long) way of doing it. What i do is simply use the lasso tool and freehand it (i zoom in very closely). However, to save you a lot of time, you can use the magic wand tool and select the areas you want to delete (make sure you test out the tolerance first).

Also, if you notice, for both darkseid and brainiac i used toy figures. The way i make them look more prominent is through lighting/shadowing. Use the burn tool to do this.

Nice job. If they were to change the suit I think that'd be the way to go. But I dont really mind the suit we have now. Actually I really like it.

i have no idea who he is, what he is, or what his personality is... other than the fact that i know hes a superman clone (c.o. the animated series)

I would be fine if we got that suit in the next movie, but to be honest I like the suit we got a bit better. The colors in your manip look a little too bright for me.

Had an idea for a Brainiac manip, but since I'm still a beginner at Photoshop, I have no clue where to start. So maybe if one of you fellers could lend a hand, that would rule.

Basically, what I'm wanting to do is combine this guy:



with one of these guys:



and then, y'know, edit the colors and add the lightbulbs on his head and whatnot.
