It doesn't matter how good the game is, how good it looks, sounds, plays, how much it sales or how good it's reviews are, people here will still pretend that Rare somehow "lost it's magic" after Nintendo, it's hilarious. They've been harping on that line for years now and STILL haven't gotten over the buyout enough to just move on.
Anyways, I'm hoping for Banjo Threeie (so WHF will stop hating Rare), or Jet Force Gemini 2 (fat chance, I know, but oh well). A new T or M rated IP would be nice as well, just to please all the 12 year olds who only play those games to look cool for their friends and trash stuff like Viva. |

Killer Instict 3 would be cool I guess, if it were done right. It'd have to be a more pick up and play DOA4 type fighting game (you know, actually fun) rather than a "omg deep" game that's all about memorizing combo's and having years of experience just to win (you know, not actually fun) for me to care though. I'd love a kart racing game with Microsoft Game Studio's characters, that would actually be pretty cool, and fun.

Hopefully we'll get Banjo 1 and 2 with the Wii Virtual Console.

You won't, Rare owns those IPs. You might get them via Xbox Live Arcade though.

I'm really hoping that it is Banjo Kazooie 3 or Killer Instinct 3. I think that those sequels can help put Rare out of the funk they are in right now.

Exactly what I'm talking about. They release critically well received million sellers and they're in a "funk"

![]() Perfect Dark Zero while not bad at all, was nowhere near the level of awesomeness as Perfect Dark was. Conker: Live and Reloaded was a remake of Conker's Bad Fur Day Rare of today just doesn't compare to the Rare of old with games such as Battletoads, Donkey Kong Country, Killer Instinct, Goldeneye, and Perfect Dark. |

Oh please, I doubt you ever even played Battletoads, you're just spewing the same crap that everyone else is. You look up something they did before so you can look like you know what you're talking about, and then give some crap like "oh, they're nowhere near as good as they were before!" It happens with everything, game developers, directors, authors, etc. It's really damned annoying.
Star Fox Adventures was rushed, still got good reviews, and still sold better than most. Ghoulies was a great game that was brought from concept to completion in under 6 months and was basically meant as a test bed. Despite your rantings, most people loved Kameo, as shown in it's reviews, where it mostly got 8's and 9's. Conker Live and Reloaded was a remake, yes. A remake of a great game, that also turned out to be great. Point? You guys were saying that Rare had "lost it" before Adventures had even been released, as soon as you read about the buy out, and you haven't changed your tune one bit after having been proven wrong by them multiple times. I'm sorry Rare isn't with Nintendo anymore guys, but you're going to just have to get over it. |

I DON'T THINK THEY COULD SHRINK THEM DOWN TO 60 MB EACH.

That limit will be done away with soon when they release those 200mb memory cards. Hopefully they get rid of a size limit altogether, but 200mb would be fine. With modern compression, fitting those n64 carts into that would be no problem.

. I am old enough to remember owning and playing an original NES playing awesome games such as Super Mario Bros. 1-3, Duck Hunt, and Battletoads. We even used to have Beetlejuice and Terminator 2: Judgement Day.I played an Xbox that had an NES emulator one one of the first days of college and I was able to play Battletoads once again. Everyone thought I was crazy for loving that game Quote:

Rare has made great games before the MS buyout, and they've done the same afterwards. The fact that they're now working for the opposing side doesn't mean jack for their quality. |

Grabbed by the Ghoulies was actually a lot of fun.
And THWIP*, you won't find an N64 game over 60 mb. Goldeneye is 12mb. Banjo Kazooie is 16mb. Ocarina of Time is 32mb. They'll fit nicely. MS is hopefully coding something for these mofos so the N64 controls go over to a 360 nicely. I could do it, probably.
