Hell, Muse is one of my favorite rock bands.

LOL I can understand the appeal of Less Than Jake to anyone, say, under the age of 13 years old, but when you have otherwise reasonable and rational adults listing them in a good albums thread, it is slightly tragic.

Less than jake is great carefree music for parties and they kick major ass live. They just don't feel the need to take themselves too seriously unlike a lot of traditional punk bands... who suck!

The last few songs on Absolution were kind of a letdown.

And, I'm going to see them in November.

I agree, but the bulk of Absolution made them better.

I don't think they are overrated, and they never get old.

...but that's just my opinion.

Meh, I suppose, but you've got Butterflies which is a big, grand song, then four crap ones.

Now that I think about it, you're right.
*Omits Absolution, because I am biased for 5 or 6 songs.*

I think Showbiz is really underrated.

Muse is a Radiohead rip-off in my opinion. I only like one of thier songs.

Tony Iommi pwns every other metal guitarist. That doesn't mean I don't think others are good though.

Actually, pretty much any Misfits release with the exception of American Psycho. (I don't despise the new Misfits because I think Famous Monsters is a great CD)
Static Age and Bullet were easily my favorites. Walk Among Us has some of their best, but nothing can copete with Static Age. I could never get into Earth A.D. for some reason.

Oh yeah, the FLCL OST is amazing. The Pillows made some of the best rock ever.
