Yeah, supposivly it's going to be the game based on the movie which is based on the novels which are based on the game.

I think the movie and novels are just based on the game, and the new game is just an extension of that universe, it isn't the movie, since the movie's game would be the original Halo

Intellectual Property, basically it means something totally new. When Bungie first did Halo, because it was the first thing to ever take place in the Halo universe, it was a new IP. So they'll basically be doing totally new stuff with Peter Jackson and MGS financial backing.

I bet Jackson's will be a game that takes place during the first Halo, and you play as Johnson, or some other secondary character from the movie/books

That would be EXTREMELY impressive if they can make an RTS very, very nice looking like the trailer
 Since, you know, in most of those rts games that you zoom in, they are worse than n64 models

My mouth literally opened when they showed that Elite. It beats the **** out of the Halo 2 Elite, rapes it, ties it to the back of a Ghost, and drags it along a landscape of jagged rocks.
All under a minute.
