The "Ultimate Marvel" RPG

GameMaster: Spider-Man9x17
Deputy Mod: Venom160

This game is similar to the Marvel RPG, only based off of Ultimate continuity.

RULES:

-Players can choose any hero in the Ultimate Marvel Universe. Players who have proved themselves as good RPer's will also have the option to Ultimize a character, and/or take up a second character. No God-Like characters.

-Everyone exists in the Ultimate Marvel Timeline. No 616 or other alternate items may be used.

-No Killing. Unnamed faceless NPC's may be killed, but not comic characters. Someone else may want to take up the character, or they may be important to another story.

-You can go anywhere on Earth, or travel off planet, but do so within your characters means.

-You are your character, so act like it. Talk like them, use there dialouge. Do not exaggerate your powers, or pop-up here and there without explination.

-Several stories can be going at once, and you have the freedom to interact with other characters.

-No Time Travel.

-You must post at least once every two weeks, though it is preferred that you post more. If you go two weeks without a post without prior notice, your character is up for grabs.

-You must have at least 50 posts on the Hype boards to be eligible to play

-And of course, all regular rules of the Hype apply.

-Have fun.

Screen Name: Byrd Man

Character you would like to play: Steve Rogers/ Captain America

Powers and a brief description of the character in proper English: Steve Rogers is a frail volunteer who undergoes months of steroid treatment, surgery, and the Super-Soldier formula to become Captain America. Rogers' last mission as Captain America sends him to a Nazi stronghold on the coast of Iceland to stop a prototype hydrogen bomb created using alien technology. He causes the rocket carrying the bomb to explode and falls into the freezing Arctic Ocean. Rogers falls into a state of suspended animation until Tony Stark's deep sea exploration team pulls him out of the water 57 years later

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. He's Captain America

2. He's one of my favorite charcters in the Ultimate comics (Next to Iron Man and Reed Richards)

3. America. **** yeah!

What can you bring to this game?

A good soldier and paper cups if were running low

Powers and a brief description of the character in proper English:
Born in 1989, Eili Bradley is the son of world famous track star Josiah Bradley and grandson of decorated war hero Isiah Bradley. Unbeknowst to all of them is that Isiah was involved in a top secret experiment during the last days of World War II. Using Steve Rogers' DNA the goverment tried to replicate a supersoldier. After all the subjects died except Isiah the case was closed. Although when Isiah's wife gave birth he showed ablities close to those of Captain America which led to his life of fortune and fame. Now his son's ablites rival that of Captain America himself. Now approaching his 18th birthday, General Nick Fury has tagged him as the next member of The Ultimates.

Hello everyone, my name is Mr. Marko, and I will be playing Mystique/Jubileeand Forge.

You can go ahead and take that reserve of Hawkeye off, Venom, because even if the third character rule is approved... I've decided that I'm not going to take one up. At least not anytime soon. (And regardless, I don't think Hawkeye is the character I'll end up choosing.)

In the meantime, I know it was said that you didn't have to reapply, but I already made up both applications on a night where I was bored, so... I might aswell post them.

Character you would like to play: Daredevil

Powers and a brief description of the character in proper English: Though blind, Matt Murdock's other senses function with a superhuman sharpness, allowing him to surpass the abilities of mere mortal men.

A firm optimist and believer in true justice, Matt spends his days as an attorney at law, aiding those in need of defense. But when the justice system fails those taunted by criminality, Matt uses his powers to change this as the masked vigilante known as The Daredevil.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. I have over two years experience playing the older, 616 version. This version allows me to tread back and go through some of the character's life changing experiences and turning points, while allowing freedom to change them up a bit and 'ultimize' them.

2. He's essential to my first arc within the game. Plus, I want to distinct him as an inexperienced version of the character... something I feel I could've done better when I played him last season.

3. I have all kinds of ideas for ultimate versions of his foes, from The Purple Man, to The Owl. I even have an arc in mind where he comes into contact with Ultimate Bullseye for the first time.

What can you bring to this game? Harvey Birdman's fiercest competition.

Character you would like to play: Moon Knight

Powers and a brief description of the character in proper English: Moon Knight's abilties include enhanced durability, strength, and reflexes. All of which are controlled by the phases of the moon. He is also a master of many different combat forms, and owns an arsenal of customised crescent themed weaponry.

A mysterious crusader for justice with his own vendettas kept in secrecy, the avatar of the moon god "Khonshu" maintains an existance through multiple lives. One of which is Marc Spector. The other, Steven Grant. And perhaps his most dominant, The Moon Knight. But this has taken the greater toll of affecting his sanity, causing question for whether or not he truly knows what he's doing.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. He's the first character in this RPG of which I've ever been confident that I could play over a long period of time.

2. Since ending my arc with him last season, I've studied up and read more about the character. Not only do I understand him more than I did, I now have ideas for ultimate versions of both his enemies and allies.

3. I intend to fix the mistakes I made in portraying the character, back when I didn't know about some of the details of his Ultimate interpretation.

What can you bring to this game? Marvel's ultimate schitzophreniac.

Powers and a brief description of the character in proper English: Piotr Rasputin has the ability to cover his body in an organic metal endowing him with increased strength and near invulnerability.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. Always like Piotr and love the Ultimate Version.

2. No one else seems interested in delving into his background.

3. Expanding the horizons of Colossus.

What can you bring to this game? A take on the character that has yet to be explored by the Ultimate writers.

there is a need for 50 post minimum, but you can get that soon, also to post pics, find one online, then save copy the adress, then on a 'reply' window, there is a mountain pic icon, click it then paste the address in there and it will put the pic in.

A mod will be along in a while to tell you all about it though, quickly snap up some posts hombre! (no spamming)
