Weapons of mass destruction (WMD). We went to war with Iraq for having WMD which were never found.
We KNOW Korea has WMD (I mean nuclear weapons or any technology associated with must count as WMD right?) So how come we haven't flown over and do what we did in Iraq to N Korea? Perhaps there's something I've missed, it just confuses me a little.

1. N. Korea wouldn't be as easy to overtake as Iraq was.
2. N. Korea might use their new WMDs on us. 3. China would get nervous if we started a war that close to them. Especially against another communist country. 4. It would be less beneficial to our government to invade N. Korea than it was to invade Iraq (costs outweigh benefits) |

Once they find oil on the Korean peninsula we'll "liberate" North Korea.

So in a way NOT going to war with North Korea is kind of a slap in the face of all the reasons of why we went to war with Iraq. The phrase "the hypocrisy of our democracy" comes to mind.
