Which is kind of ironic to me when some people criticize his performance in Batman or Batman Returns. I's not that he's being more subdued because he's a terrible actor--that's just what the part calls for. He can obviously play all along the spectrum of acting and it's a shame that he's been getting pretty worthless films lately.
BTW, has anyone seen "The Company?" It's with him, Alfred Molina, and...somebody else. Don't know if it's good or not.

Almost makes you wonder what Keaton would've been like in Pirates of the Caribbean, had he taken the role of Captain Jack Sparrow. It'd be awesome to see him in a pirate movie!

I've often wondered about what Batman Forever could've been like had Keaton chosen to return to the Franchise. Of course, with Burton still directing the run.

The best picture of Keaton as Batman, in my opinion, is the f**ked-up grin he gives the fat guy after he puts the bomb on him in Returns.

Alright I know this would never make it into the movies but who remembers the Batman Special #1? There was a villain in it named the Wraith. He was like Batman through the looking glass.

Damn, Keaton and Depp in a movie together? The celluloid would explode with talent!

For those of us who wished Keaton had kept playing Batman, here's a question: it's obvious that Depp would have been cast eventually if Burton had kept making them (imagine, on some off chance, that Burton and Keaton kept doing Batman 5, 6, 7... etc..) what villain would Depp be great for?

Imagine Depp as Batman, would it be good or bad? Im really not sure, he is a great actor who can disappear into his chracter. Also he is quiet dark in most of his roles. Sounds great on paper...

Ironically that's exactly why it could really work. I'd like to see Eric Bana as Batman in a future movie personally.
