Default Favorite scene

what are some of your favorite scenes of all time

the reason i ask is cause i am watching heat, and there are a few scenes in it that have to be in the upper class

1. the Pacino DeNiro face off in the diner, brilliant acting by both men, just sucks you right into their world

2. the bank robbery/getaway-one of the best action scenes ever

anyother scenes you think have to be your favorites or have to be considered the best list them here

In For a Few Dollars More when Indio and Mortimer have their final confrontation and Blondie sits off to the side with the pocke****ch playing it's little music. That scene in my mind is not only one of my favorite scenes, but also one of my favorite "quick draw" moments. The tension and the build up accompanied by the song playing on the watch really draw you into the moment.

In to Kill a Mocking Bird when Atticus sits outside Tom's prison cell, waiting for the angry mob that is coming to hang him, only to have to confront them with his kids present. Everytime I see that scene, I get overwhelmed with inspiration from Atticus and his children's determination to stand their ground.

Optimus Prime mowing down the Decepticons in truck mode, he jumps in the air and transformers, pulls out his gun and finishes off the rest of them, as he delivers his classic "One shall stand, one shall fall line" to Megatron in Transformers:The Movie.

Just off the top of my head

The end scene of V for Vendetta with the crowd watching the destruction, and the scene in Superman Returns where everyone has gathered outside the Hospital to give Supes their support, and Martha Kent not being allowed in.

Not exactly my favorite, but at least highly memorable: Dennis Hopper explaining to Christopher Walken, playing an Italian, why Italians went from having predominantly blonde hair and blue eyes, to black hair and brown eyes in True Romance.

Despite the racism and questionable validity, the monologue is priceless.

Yeah, man!
Watching it now,...of course Han Solo was going to change his mind and come back to help.
But when I was a kid, I was like "EFF YEAH!!!!!!!"

I also like, "Don't get cocky, kid."

'cause it's like Han sees that Luke isn't useless, but he isn't quite all of the way into respecting him yet.

It's the start of them being partners against the Empire, where he's starting to feel like they could have some success, but he's still hoping that it wasn't just luck and that Luke's youth and naivete won't ruin the good thing.

And real collaborators, real equals, always get to a point where they harmonize with eachother, but feel "at ease" saying, "Hey, good work, but don't F*** UP NOW!, you IDIOT/GENIUS!", without catching feelings.
They soldier on, and eventually become a kick-ass team.

I love Star Wars.

i'm sure i've given my views in various threads similar to this one.

Hulk jumping across america like it's playground and spidey swinging at the end of the first film For cgi shots.

best american moment is when the statue of libery starts walking in ghostbusters two

best romantic moment is when demi moore and patrick swayze dance to unchained melody via whoopi in Ghost.

best respectful moment are the soldiers bowing to their enemy in the last samurai.

best sad moment is sarah connor's monologue at the end of terminator 2

best geekasm will be spidey in the black suit for the first time realising he's upside down in a costume he's never seen before (which stars in the first spidey 3 teaser).

best 'oh ****' moment is spidey ripping ock off a building and pummelling the royal **** out of him in spidey two during their first encounter. I love the way it goes silent and all you can hear are spidey's fists pounding into ock's face.

best animation moment's go to batman in mask of the phantasm putting on his cowl for the first time, always makes me cry. This is tied with Terry mcguiness taking out the joker pretty much by himself in return of the joker, it just shows he's in the big league.

best musical pieces would be a whole new world in aladdin and also shall we dance in the king and I.

best hollywood fight scene goes to johnny cage vs scorpion in mortal kombat.

best eastern fight scene goes to jackie chan and the three amazons in Armour of god.
