The favorite scenes thread reminded me of this...

I'm sorry, but Stand By Me deserves its own homage thread. Personally, it's my favorite movie of all-time, and I think anyone over the age of 20 should take the time to make sure the younger generation is exposed to it. Best coming of age story ever!

Teddy: "I am acting my age! I'm in the prime of my youth and I'll only be young once!"
Chris: "Yeah, but you'll be stupid for the rest of your life."

With good reason. If you analyzed the average group of 4 male friends in the 10-12 year old range, found the weekend in that life period where they were funniest/most entertaining...this is pretty much what it would sound like.

Also, who doesn't love a teenage hood named Eyeball?
