Alright, this thread is for whoever's getting a Wii at launch. Post all your pictures here from that wonderful day.

I don't have my Wii yet (obviously), but to kick off this thread, I've got some pictures of my copy of Red Steel.

Where did you buy it? All of the stores near me refuse to sell anything until Sunday.

But atleast you have a game. The only game I am guaranteed now is Wii Sports. No store is selling any other game now. My only hope is that Toys R Us has atleast 1 copy of Twilight Princess that wasn't preordered.

I'm hoping my friend's brother will camp out at Target. If he does, I will pay him to pick up a copy of TP for me.

Good luck on getting TP. It looks amazing. Any word on component cables at launch in retail stores?

Yeah, the white cases are sexy. They do look really nice, but the disc art on a lot of games is pretty simplistic. How is the Raving Rabbids disc art? And where did you get your games?

I bought the games at GameStop; they were the only two they had for early purchase. I haven't opened either case, choosing to open them on launch day, so I can't tell you what RRR looks like, but I remember it have a blue tint in some of the photos I've seen. Yeah, they are a tad simplistic, but I think it also adds to their overal shiek, kind of MAC-ish presentation.

Nice thread, and I'll be sure to post pictures of everything Wii in the coming days.

I have an idea, what photos are guys planning to use on your Wii Photo Channel slide-show? I've already planned a presentation next week for a project I'm doing.

Yeah, the disc art is nice and smooth on Red Steel and Trauma Center. But have you seen the Monkey Ball art? It's like a ****ty PS1 game's design. At least the game makes up for that.

I'll be taking pictures of the Wii, then pulling the SD card out of the camera, and in the Wii. Then I'm gonna doodle around with it. I'll post my pics here too.

I want to use the Mii channel really bad. I heard that your Miis will play on the Wii Sports Baseball game. That's pretty cool.

What are the VC launch titles?

I was THINKING about getting the classic controler....but the GC controler works with the VC games.

Anyone hear anything about the Wii broadband adapter and if it's going to hit on launch as well?

I was just about to ask the same thing. I'm peeved that GS won't just give me my Zelda now.

I think Walmart is selling ahead of time,though. I went there today, and all the games were out, screaming "BUY ME!". I'm almost bought Madden, but then remembered I have a $63 gift certificate to GS.

See, we're selling all Wii launch titles early (minus Zelda.) If your GameStops not thats....odd. The street date for every launch title other then Zelda was last week sometime.
