He gets an email from WoWAccountAdmin yesterday saying.

Details: Account found to be using an unauthorized Third-Party application, in violation of the terms of use.

The actions detailed above have been deemed inappropriate for World of Warcraft by the Blizzard Entertainment In-game Support Staff. As a result, the World of Warcraft account has been given a 72 hour account suspension and will not be accessible for the duration thereof. This World of Warcraft account has also been forwarded to our Account Administration team for review of current and previous policy infractions to determine if further account actions, up to and including account closure, are necessary. Our Account Administration team will contact you with a decision once all information has been reviewed.

he first bribes them with money. (he wasn't actaully going to pay, but when they refuse his offer of $3,000 via paypal. My friend then replies with:

"what if i said i'd kill myself if u let me stay banned. my blood is going to be on your hands"

Luckily for me and you all the servers are down so i'm use to not playing wow in the morning of tuesdays but if i dont get to play by tonight on my account i dont know what i'll do.

4-5 hours go by with no reply from World of Warcraft. I tell my friend that he's gonna get owned and police are going to come to his house

He tells me that it's not possible because the serial was stolen, and he used a game card, no cc ever on the site all they have is my first name.

he starts to go down stairs and see's the cop cars through the window.
he goes down stairs and there like ...yeah are you so and so? we got reports that u wantd to kill yourself. and he told him how it was just an attempt to get unbanned from a game and was not serious.

they tell him how they spent 4 hours trying to find him and that they take these type of things seriously.

How'd they find him? lol

So a little bit later he gets a reply from wow again:

i'm sorry about the other stuff i said.

is there anything i can do besides buying a new account? i paid for my wow account with a prepaid card. (basically i lost the months on the card? because of this)

i could just make a new account and start off as level 1. but that will just be so time consuming and a headache to start over.

How about I tell you every known exploit i know in WoW (a lot) I can tell you where these programs to speed hack, bot, fish bot, heal bots, WSG exploits, teleporting exploits etc. I know them all perhaps me telling you this information can help u stop it. or stop the distrubition by getting the sites to shut down because of the contents that the d/l is.

I even know of message boards where groups of people submit exploits, cheats, and programs all day long.

In return for this information I'd just like my account unbanned. You could keep a close eye on me and you'll see i wont do any of the things i listed above.

Wow lol, that's hilarious in a sad way. I think it's atleast a bit obvious he was joking, but you can't blame Blizzard. If some kid killed himself, and it got out Blizzard had e-mails saying he was going to and they did nothing, either they could get in trouble or get bad press.
