Anyone else notice this?

After watching the trailer for the 1000th time, did any of you notice that the ramp that JB rides down changes during the different scenes? In one scene, it has fire on the sides with a very slight slope, in another scene he is riding down a giant slope with no fire on the sides.

Are these two different jumps, whats going on?

i disagree...Barton Blaze is supposed to die during a stunt show in a low budget venue. its supposed to happen under a tent w/ a simple race track set up.
either there are 2 different jumps for modern JB...or MSJ was able to improve the scene w/ cgi.
i can remember that shot was different in the cgi-less comic con teaser from last year. had trucks instead of copters.

I think it's the same scene. The ramp is definitely the same, although the angle does look different in the different shots.

Anyway, if it is a continuity error they have time to fix it.

yeah BG is right. The scene has gone through a lot of changes. The fire beats the hell out of me, unless it's a goof.

And no it's not two different jumps and it's Johnny Blaze.

I think is either
1)two different jumps or
2) the ramp has two "steps": the first shot is JB coming in scene(maybe halting then on the edge of the second ramp), the second bigger ramp is the real jump...
But i think they are two different jumps. The first is probably the one wich shows JB accident and "strange" recover (probably it is near the start of the movie), the second jump is the Roxanne interview one, the "never attempted before jump", probably to reitroduce Roxanne, or JB in her city.

I think it's two different jumps... wait a minute... I KNOW it's two different jumps! The first is Johnny's introduction as an adult in the movie and he's jumping 20 trucks. The second he is jumping six helicopters. They always cut those trailers to fit what their needs are, it's no use trying to make sense of them! And just FYI, tonight I'm showing 18 minutes of footage to the press, along with Nic and Eva, at the Hollywood Cemetery! Yeah, we're throwing it right up against the mausoleum wall. Wish me luck. Entertainment Tonight etc. will be there to cover it so watch for it!

Thanks for the clarification on the jumps as well. I remember seeing the trucks in the leaked trailer last year and just assumed that you digitally replaced them with choppers later on to make it that much more awesome. Silly me.

In the scene @ the Telstra dome did you actually have the ramp there or was it digitally placed there after shooting the scene.

I was so excited about POSSIBLY seeing a little bit of the footage (you think we will?), that I actually just now realized what you meant earlier...

I'll be watching ET tomorrow for sure then...

Btw MSJ...can you maybe give us a summary of the footage, or maybe a "review" of how things went at the screening when you get to a computer later on? I would really love it, as I'm sure others would as well.

Man you're lucky...MSJ hasn't responded to any of the 2 pms I sent him a couple of weeks/months ago. (one was just about 3 or 4 weeks ago, and one was back in August)

I know he's busy editingGR and everything, so it's understood...but I'm going to keep trying!

I know where that is... i live about 40 minutes away from there.. I wonder if i should sneek over and do a covert OP for the hype??? hhhmmmm.... lets see, its 529 so i could get there by 615 or 630....hhhmmm No i think ill just wait for the movie....or mabe not...
