Confront your fears...

Easy premise...

Post your deepest darkest fear and why...

I'll go first:

Needles

I believe my fear of needles goes a few years back when I was having trouble eating. I went to the doctor and it looked as though I had an ulcer but the the doc wanted to do some bloodwork. So the nurse sinches up the arm and proceeds to stab me and then comes the line I'll never forget... "...oops...".
At first I thought nothing of it until I felt her stab me again followed by, "...hmmm... where...?". I started to get worried and turned my head to look and see what she was doing and as soon as I started to do that she pushed my head back and said, "One sec...". I come to the conclusion that the initial "oops" was probably not a good sign. As it turns out she had trouble finding a vein in that particular arm and decided that she take a shot in the dark at hitting something in that arm as opposed to just trying the other one. So she patches up that arm and proceeds to the other. She ties me off, offers a confident-sounding, "Ah-ha..." and stabs away. After what I have determined to be 2 and three-quarter months I hear, "...shoot...". I'm a bit woozy and see her looking around for something. I was a bit afraid to look and see what she was going for and was relieved when she told me with me asking. "I'm going to get the baby needle, I can't seem to get this vein right." She locates this tiny contraption and proceeds the familiar stabbing, I get the strange sensation of loss and see the baggie filling with what I can only assume is my blood. After she fills that baggie she clamps the hose and puts on another bag. I decided to not ask questions so that my possible final moments wouldn't in anger, rather confusion. I sat ther for a bit after the ordeal, waiting for what I thought would be orange juice and a cookie of some sort. Instead I was given a most un-quenching handshake followed by a non-sugary "Alright you're all done. We'll give you a call." I staggered down the hallway and out the door. I managed to careen into my car before having a little power nap and driving slowly home. For some reason that minor ordeal left me with a fear of needles and an utter hatred of older nurses. On the good side the blood work came back clean and it turns out I just had 2 ulcers. Yay...?

I'm not scared but totally convinced i'm going to die crossing the road, so I always cross my fingers when i do.

except for that and turning into parents, then i'm dandy.

Why do they need all those legs and what purpose do they serve? I hate them and they're ugly.

Death

I'm enjoying life too much to die. I'm afraid of what comes after death. I'm a Christian and all but until I recieve proof of God's jamboree in the sky; I'll have to conider the possibility that I get put in the ground after I die and maggots eat me. That's both scary and boring.

they scare the CRAP out of me. and they're too damn fast for me to risk trying to squash them and missing and having it crawl on me or something *paranoid*

Well I hate and fear everything about it. I'd hate to die in a tragic accident now as I'm only 21. I'd hate to have a painful death cuz who likes pain? i hate the idea of dying when I'm old cuz "getting old" is another thing I guess you could say I fear. I just want a beam of light to zap me when my "time" comes lol.

I'm really scared of getting old. The aging process itself, getting closer to death....yikes.

I'm also afraid of spiders and ANY type of bee sends me running.

I'm scared of permanently losing the ones I love most.

I'm scared of dying alone.

I guess I'm scared of getting shot, stabbed, squished, decapitated, starving, having my family killed or hurt, becoming a fat slob who accomplishes nothing. And I wish I wouldn't get old, I like being young.

And I don't see why people are afraid of Spiders, they're good, they eat the Mysquitos. I think Spiders are cool. And don't be afraid of Bee's, because if your afraid, they will sting you.
