That's not a bad choice, actually.
I would like to Evangeline Lilly in the role, personally.

IESB: Do you ever think we're going to see you be a superhero? Because they're talking about Ryan being the Flash.

Nathan Fillion: Oh, he'd be a good Flash! I keep reading on the internet that I'd be a good Hal Jordan, the Green Lantern. Here's the only thing: what would his "thing" be? I mean what would he have to do? He's got that ring. He can make a giant fist and grab somebody. Where's the challenge?

Sounds like he's not too serious about the Green Lantern.

Still doesn't make Caviezel a good choice.

It makes him a GREAT choice.

Even though neither of them will be eligible for the role; given its John Stewart.

Fillion would need a script to get a feel for the character.

That's heart-breaking.

I have to admit that is a pretty damn good manipulation you got there JB. Did you make it or did someone else make it?

But I would hate for Hal - whoever would have played Hal - to wear the John Stewart costume.

I wonder if Caviezel even knows who/what the Green Lantern is... or if they would have even touched him seeing as how he's nearly 40 and they got this thing about 20 somethings for the sequel factor.

Kind of makes me wish Hal was still the Specter.

do you remember the early interviews from Christian Bale about superheroes? for a good long while he couldnt get his mind around the concept of a costumed crimefighter-- it was to the point of mocking them. but he signed on for Batman and listen to the song he's singing now.

all i'm saying is just because an actor is a critic doesnt mean he'll suck in the role, and an actor whose a fan doesnt mean he'll do well (case in point: Nick Cage)

Don't know why some keep hoping that Hal Jordan is going to be used. Jon Stewart is going to be the GL they go with in a live action film.

i also like Biel for Hawkgirl

but given that whoever would play Wonder Woman should be really tall. it would look ridiculous if the Amazon is even shorter than the Thanagarian.

I'd kind of like to see him play Aquaman, either him or Gerard Butler.

But yeah, he could be a good Thor.

My inner fanboy will not let go of the idea of Fillion portraying Hal Jordan.
For The Flash, Reynolds was my first choice of course, but ever since I found out Neil Patrick Harris would be voicing him in New Frontier, I kinda liked the thought of Harris playing him live action.

I don't feel that The Flash has to be muscular on a Superman/Batman level, and I honestly feel Harris could pull of a Barry Allen or Wally West.
